Is it so hard for them to understand that Jason is quiet.

And he doesn't get involved in arguments or confrontations if he can avoid it...he's been consistent like that throughout.

It's like they're angry at him for not having worn his heart on his sleeve, like they do. His reasons for choosing Lateysha and then Ryan were completely valid, but they're using the fact that it surprised them as an excuse to band together against him.

I dont get why he and Laura are fretting over the baying mob. Have they never seen the show before. The crowd dont always reflect the voters after all Jason was saved by the vote so why worry about the chavs outside?

Jason has said before that he doesn't watch the show, or hasn't really seen it before.

It frustrates me when housemates are saying its strange how he said that about Ryan but never to his face, can you imagine if he did? It would be Jason can't have a laugh f of Jason etc so what's the point also he is a 45 year old man I don't suppose bitching is something he likes

Exactly . They want everyone all WOO-HOO 24/7 .
It's so weird . Yet Jackson, Andy, Hughie (a lot), Sam, Jayne, Ev and Ryan have all had bad days . Hughie especially has been a nightmare at times, going off alone to sulk in the pod and refusing to be helped .
Not to mention Jackson's ridiculous sulking over Georgina and getting called out by Ev . Andy is notorious for long term sulking , yet is front and centre dissing Jason tonight . Idiots .

You think Andy is being disrespectful of Jason? That's his mate (in the house). I think he's being sympathetic because he doesn't want Jason to suffer any further.

Jason has been introvert and deep thinking throughout - by his own omission, he is shy. Because he has been under attack from HM and he heard a negative crowd reaction, he is now over thinking everything, which is lethal in the BB house. I am a bit disappointed that Andy isn't being a bit more sympathetic. When Andy was on the floor, crying in the bedroom, Jason came to comfort him.

Sorry but I think Jason is being a real miserable sod tonight! Plus what's all this nonsense about him not knowing why he was getting cheers before but now boos. He said himself that Lateysha was the favourite, that's why he voted her out and considering Jason is SO tactical he obviously knows why he's really getting boos!

Considering I have felt sorry for Jason in the past when Charlie was in the house I'm really not that sure about him now!

That's the worst excuse I have heard. Why would ANYONE want anything to do with him now? You'd be scared to even communicate with him in case he stored it & held it against you at nomination time!!

Let's be clear, when this thread started we saw the HMs complaining about the way Jason had kept his opinions to himself and then 'out of the blue' choosing Lateysha, and then Ryan, both of whom were immediately evicted.

Since then we've seen Jason becoming more and more insular. Andy did actually try a multitude of ways to help his friend, but Jason was adamant in his sulking. And now he's sitting in the garden while everyone else is inside dancing.

Fair enough, now you can argue that he's "keeping himself to himself" perhaps a little too much, but I don't think that's what the OP was referring to at the time. Just saying.

I like Jason...but tonight are we seeing someone playing a game and who knows exactly what he is doing?

Precisely . Andy has been a nightmare yet has forgotten all the times they all beat him down and is NOT being one bit helpful to Jason . He's saying the right things but then pulling faces and sighing and scampering off to the DR to biatch about Jason being down . He's such a hypocrite . Wait till he sees what Ed has been up to , all the WOO-HOO , LET'S DANCE will soon be wiped off his face .

I don't know he's faultering here and going exactly the right way to get himself nominated as Andy said.

I agree. You'd think that after Jason got rid of Lateysha (who Andy said stopped him feeling comfortable in the house) he'd be a little more understanding. I hovered between liking and disliking Andy, I think he's finally pushed me over the dislike line.

Hyperbole much?

Seriously though, why so bitter? For one thing this is only TV, but I can't help wonder what Andy has done to deserve such exaggerated hatred from you.

Well he must know that being like this wont endear him to the viewers, so I dont think he's playing a game.

I think there's also an element, with Jason, that he thinks about everything too much - as Andy said.

I think they all think nominations are coming soon, so after the high of being saved on Friday he's already probably thinking about what lies ahead rather than just relaxing and enjoying himself, something he seems rather unable to do at the best of times. I imagine there's way too much time in there to dwell on things.

As to somebody saying Andy 'dissed' Jason tonight, I didn't see that. He did try his hardest to find a way to get Jason out of his funk - which Jason admitted he was in - but he wasn't it the mood to be cheered up (until Hughie fell in the pool ). I don't think Andy should have avoided the party just to try and cheer Jason up so more though, he'd probably tried all day!

Andy was doing his best Jimmy Somerville tonight, just thought I'd say that

Absolutely.

I think he was in a funk he didn't want to be in, but you know when you're in a certain mood, know it's not good but you can't seem to get out of it. I think we all get those at some point.

And Andy is a fine one to talk, he's been a right old grump at times, remember his "throwing gay people off buildings" speech.

I agree. We only saw a small section of Andy trying to cheer Jason up. He may well have been trying all day and was starting to get irritated that Jason wouldn't just buck up, when he went to the DR. I am glad that Andy had such fun at the party, it was good to see that side of him. Jason seemed to be integrated back into the group, after the dancing stopped (he never dances) and at least he had a laugh at Hughie. After such a fun evening, I hope Jason gets eased back into the group.

I agree, he should know with being so tactical that nominating the favourite that he would be booed so why is he trying to make out he doesn't know why he was booed on Friday? Is Jason now just looking for the sympathy vote? I admired him for nominating Lateysha but he's overplaying his hand for me now!

He seems a bit depressed to me. He has been treated like an outcast by some of them for most of his time in the house. I feel for him.

We certainly do. It wouldn't surprise me though if Jason had never really considered the notion that doing little things, like placing his body in direct sunlight, might actually help to 'solve the problems' that were running through his mind.
