Hmmm...

Sympathy votes are an odd thing aren't they?

If this is about Jason- what does he need the sympathy for? Stating his opinions I would love to know opinions of housemates if so! They never seem to have any! Lol

I love Jason, but I can also see why people are wondering about this sudden opinion he has when he's never voiced the opinion to them (all we saw was a flashback conversation about it with Andy, but he's never mentioned it to the actual people involved, ie. Ryan and whoever was with him).

Even I can see that it looks suspicious to suddenly only mention it when on live TV. Not that it changes his nom, as he would have nominated Ryan even without the reason as it was his last part of the reason.

Nobody, but I predict Jason will probably end up being accused of 'playing the victim'.

I just think the boos knocked his confidence.

If this is about Jason in the diary room then I thought it was extremely disingenuous of him

People have commented all through the series about Andy's running commentary in the diary room about other housemates & how it can be deemed his way of 'communicating' with the public. Now he has taken that outside of the diary room and is doing that daily with Jason in the garden! Majority of people on this forum support these two because they have been ostracised from the group but these two spend all day every day bitching about everyone else whilst the others at least do manage to talk occasionally without bitching even if the conversations are boring!

From the title of the thread I thought it was about Laura whingeing about the fact that she's a nice person and she shouldn't be booed. Tsk!

Jason always said he doesn't like confrontation, so thats why he doesn't often voice his opinions...just because the others thrive on aggression and shouting doesn't mean Jason does.

So because he never said anything to Ryan about his behaviour does that mean he can't nominate Ryan and give those reasons?

I don't think Jason has played the victim. Playing the victim usually means you draw attention to the fact you're on your own and no-one likes you. Jason looked like he just wanted some peace and quiet. Even at the end he brightened up a bit. Just a rough couple of days for him. Everyone gets them.

No, and I didn't say that CK. I said that I can understand why the others are surprised to suddenly hear these views when they've not heard them before. Even we didn't hear them until they showed a flashback of him talking to Andy about it - a clip we hadn't seen before either.

Nor did I imply he couldn't nominate Ryan and give those reasons. They were good reasons and I'm glad he nominated Ryan.

I agree, he avoids aggression - but I also think he's not averse to expressing an opinion if he has one, he's not backward in coming forward.

I can still understand others' confusion though! Don't be so defensive

I agree - I think he knew he was in a funny mood and didn't want to be a party pooper by looking miserable at the party and spoiling it for others, so he removed himself - which is the grown-up thing to do. He knew he was in a mood, he said he was in a strange mood. It's been a dramatic week for all of them, especially for him though.
