That's what he did though

Or perhaps I just have working ears The housemates were all saying he's never voiced that opinion before, even Jason said he hadn't.

I love how the whole episode showed Jason sitting on his own and not joining in the party. Well this picture proves different

He said people just think of him as a thug. Whose arrogant due to his size. If he even just raises his voice somewhat. I can understand that, i'm not huge but also not small. And have a loud voice.

But I have had mates, who have a similar problem really tall and large. Some people sometimes think when raise their voice. It means they are about to rip every ones head clean off!

Which is an unfair assumption obviously. But it happens.

My brother has the same problem, he's 6'4 and rather stocky (rugby build I call it ). Doesn't mean he doesn't voice his opinion though, but he never shouts. My Dad taught us all that if you don't shout, people shut up and listen (most of the time) because they can't hear you otherwise It works when I'm angry with my daughter too, I go a level or two quieter - it scares her

ETA: We haven't seen Jason shout at all, I don't think, even when he's been trying to keep the peace when others are fighting.

I don't think Jason's the type to 'play' anything.

I think he's just generally depressed after hearing his boo's, he's deep & takes things to heart.

Well he was with most of them in his office at the end. He even laughed.

It's great when discussing housemates with people who are so defensive about a HM that they can't see that perhaps even a great HM like Jason - who I really like - may perhaps have a flaw or two Whatever happened to grown-up reasonable discussion?

Imagine if Jason had confronted Ryan about his derogatory language, IMO Ryan would have thrown a massive hissy fit and stamped off to the diary room. Then Hughie would have chipped in and had a shouty go at Jason for upsetting Ryan. He couldn't win.. Never mind Ryan and Hughie will be in all the mags, they may even end up the new Ant and Dec. Nightmare.

He was at the party when it started that's for sure, BB made it look like he was outside the whole time, but he was shown inside whilst the party was going on.

Hughie falling in the pool certainly had me laughing and it had Jason rolling around the floor, as it did everybody

Maybe he has 2 left feet or hated the music they were playing.

He chose to go for the throat when he choose Ryan, and he also said some pretty vicious things to Lateysha. It took most of them by surprise. Quiet gentle Jason... not so quiet or gentle anymore.

Yeah controlled talking stern if need be, is better. And no one hears nothing, if it all kicks off.

No we haven't. He does the controlled thing.

Nor did I imply he couldn't nominate Ryan and give those reasons. They were good reasons and I'm glad he nominated Ryan.

I agree, he avoids aggression - but I also think he's not averse to expressing an opinion if he has one, he's not backward in coming forward.

I can still understand others' confusion though! Don't be so defensive ”

I think you are spot on with your assessment of Jason, people do have the right to question why Jason said what he did about Ryan's derogatory remarks considering he had not brought it up in the house but chose the moment at the eviction on Friday night. The majority of us were happy to see both Lateysha and Ryan go but Jason could have just said that Ryan was in his face over Lateyshas eviction!

Like you say, Jason is not backward in coming forward!

The thing with this derogatory thing. It was very fresh in his mind. He heard it from his bed the night before. As the clip that BB showed told us.

You make your bed...

Jason's got to stop this pity party, he won't make the final otherwise.
