I'm not a huge Jason fan but I don't understand why he is getting so much flack for choosing Ryan to evict when actually (if memory serves me correct) it ended up that Jayne had the casting vote.

He might not have voiced his reasons to Ryan but he did mention them to Andy earlier that day.

I'm not saying that housemates shouldn't question his reason but to blame him when Jayne was the final nail in the coffin that evicted Ryan seems a bit OTT.

Jason's an easy target, especially what he did during annihilation week

Jayne sealed Ryans fate with the 4th vote for him.

It wasn't that he chose Ryan it was that his reason was out of left field. He seemed really angry at Ryan and no one knew he harbored such feelings prior.

I guess people expect a grown man to speak to people when he has a problem with them. The others that chose Ryan gave reasons that didn't come from left field. Jayne gave Ryan such a look when she saw him in the rich house, he wasn't surprised or shocked by what she said. He was by what Jason had.

I see Andy like this. If he had to tell them how he feels about them ( the way he tells BB in the DR ) there would be ructions. Well there would be from Hughie

Andy has taken it to the people he's had issues with. It's why he was up for eviction so many times.

PS and there was ructions from Hughie. Remember the time Hughie randomly went up to Andy (well it seemed random) and called him a liar and story carrier or something like that. Followed him about and said it over and over again.

Exactly. It was up to Jayne. She could have taken the "safe" choice of Laura. She was the tie-breaking vote that sent Ryan to the gallows (so to speak ) I think she was inspired by Jason sticking it to the Bedroom group to have the courage to choose Ryan instead of the easy choice. Jason, and then Jayne, knocked over all the dominoes. Good on them

Jayne's vote was the one that revealed it was him, but that was just because she happened to be on the end. None of them actually had a 'deciding' vote because they had to choose before hand.

She had already made her choice though, she would have had no idea when she selected his name from the envelope that hers would be the deciding vote.

Four people chose Ryan with no influence from anyone else. They chose their cards from an envelope and showed them.

But she had already decided how she would vote prior to knowing how Jason or any of the others would vote.

By the same token, not many have told Jason how they feel about him.

Ryan proved Jason's point during his interview with Emma.

But all four chose their numbers at the same time. They then revealed them in random order and Jayne was the last to reveal hers. So Jason was no more to blame than the other three who also voted for Jason.

Also, Hughie had to vote for someone. I assume he voted for Laura to leave, but I haven't seen her going on at Hughie for choosing her. Why do HMs always think it's OK for them to nominate others but get annoyed when someone nominates them or a friend of theirs?

No she couldn't they all chose their card before the eviction began. Jayne's reason was a good one. She had been harbouring a grudge against Ryan.

Yes, he's had a few run ins with some of them. There's some stuff he says in the DR I don't think he would repeat to them. Especially when he's talking about intellect.

For the record, I like Andy. 👍

They felt fine about him until he went off on Lateysha and Ryan. Really he had no need to be that mean in his statements. Up until then he was the nice guy who cooked and cleaned.

Regarding Jason not bringing up his issues with Ryan's derogatory comments previously, can you just imaging the ructions if Jason, or indeed anyone in or out of the house, felt the need to tell anyone and everyone when they peed them off!

I kind of think that being in the big brother house is like working in an office where you like some people more than others but, in the interests of harmony, mostly you keep it to yourself if you loathe someone.

I think Andy has adjusted his actions to avoid nominations. But overall he does appear to take his issues to the person he's having issues with.
