You bet me to it I thought they seemed to have great chemistry together, infact Hughie had more with Alex than his " romance/ showmance "with the dreadful Ryan IMO ....

Alex isn't interested in Evelyn, not in the slightest...in saying that, I don't think she is on him either.....Just taking the opportunity as the only two who could maybe? It's boring whatever it is.

Well hes clearly doing it to not be forgettable... And based on her conversation today she knows that, drunk Evelyn wants more though...I wonder what they do when they share the same bed.... do they just lie there....do they talk to each other???

Evelyn, has already said there's nothing much between them, and outside the house all there would be would be a quick s**g and she's not interested in that.
Inside the house, i think she just wants a bit of male attention, companionship. and some hugs.
It might have been more interesting for her if there'd been more hetro young guys in there gagging for her. It has been a very gay orientated house this year.

He doesn't exactly exude charisma, if he had more personality it might help bolster the showmance, but it's a dead duck, he clearly is indifferent, but they seem happy to drag it out.

Ash and Imogen were more affectionate with each other than these two have been.

Alex is a human sedative. Christ, I'd rather watch paint dry, give it another coat, then watch that dry. I've seen very little of the series but that Scouse, deep monotone drawl is life-sapping. Is he not the most boring housemate to enter the house EVER? Even Susie and her tea in BB7 were a million times more interesting than the mannequin that is Alex.

Watching a clip of him discovering that he is the most forgettable housemate this year was absolutely delightful! At least he's learned SOMETHING about himself in the house!

I dipped into last night's episode, he looked so uncomfortable with Evelyn and appeared to have a wondering eye when Hughie virtually offered his crotch up for supper

Evelyn is very pretty and she has an amazing body but she has zero sex appeal.

My fridge freezer has more chemistry that Alex, and there lies the problem. When one half has none the other half has to have twice as much and Evelyn is lacking in that department too. You either have that spark or you don't and neither of them do!

He exudes creepiness though! Those stares! I thought the sofa eavesdrop was bad enough but the other night when Laura was pondering to him why they didn't get along and his response was to just stare at her... And stare at her... And stare at her...

Why is it when some is awkward around a member of the opposite sex the automatically become gay?? Maybe despite how good looking he is and the fact that he's probably had loads of girls throw themselves at it he's just not very good with girls. Also although they are doing is cuddling and sharing a bed and people are still complaining - no doubt if they starting snogging every night and constantly all over eachother they would still complain - they can't win really.

As for chemistry I think they have - when they are cuddling and the others aren't making it awkward they seem totally fine with eachother. People saying Alex has more chemistry with the make HM are only saying that because it's fits their 'oh Alex is weird around Evelyn, he must be gay' agenda.
Not saying they are going to be the greatest love affair ever or that they will even become a thing but if you don't like someone and don't want to hurt them you probably wouldn't admit to fancying them and then jump into bed with her - so maybe he actually does like but as he said he's not the type of person to kissing and doing all that stuff on tv - again this doesn't make him gay.
