I kind of wish he'd carried on denying it, but there you go.

"I'm playing a game I didn't quite understand when I first walked in anyway."

Good. There's no point denying it.

Jason is very polarising. Some people hate him for playing the game and some people love him for it. At least everyone is on the same page now.

Andy taking responsibility for his game playing:
"I haven't been able to play a game because I haven't known what the game is."

Yet more tedious, bitter drivel from fans of the Welsh whale....

What's the game he's supposedly playing?

The only game-play allowed by the BB rules is nominations (unless changed by a task or twist).

No.
Jason said: "I'm playing a game I didn't quite understand when I first walked in anyway."
Andy said: "I haven't been able to play a game because I haven't known what the game is."

Jason said he's in a game. Like a week or so ago. WE are playing it. He's said that in the diary room to. Nothing that new here.

Honest housemates I prefer anyway. Better than the bullshitters.

They are ALL playing a game. It's called Big Brother. That's all his statement says.

Once again it's only Jason in the firing line..........the producers are really trying to do a hatchet job on him!

I really hope he wins!

Game-Playing to me, in a negative BB context, would involve a lot of lying, the forming of allegiances to oust others, manipulating situations to cause arguments and friction without being spotted doing so and eventual backstabbing of 'friends' to take the crown.

Pure game of thrones stuff.

Don't think he's doing much of that.

This is why i like Jason he is the only honest one in there he is true to his nominations and has real reasons for them what i dont like is Jason is the only one questioned about them , unlike the two faced ones ,Jayne , Evelyn , Jackson , Alex , Laura , Sam , Hughie and even Andy doing it now but i do like Andy they are all playing a game .

So what has he done other than when BB has given him a personal opportunity, eg annihilation week? Looking at the nominations, he doesn't seem to have influenced anybody else. It has been others colluding to influence nominations.

They are all playing a game. They all play for the cameras and the votes of HMs and the public. At least he isn't shouting, screaming, getting it on with others and being two different people (Jackson) and sobbing and stuttering with no tears.

Jason has played his own game without resorting to bitchiness, trying to influence others and getting involved in arguments or playing up to the cameras. To me that is a much better game.

The rules are against trying to influence nominations, not only against succeeding.

For example, in BB13, Conor's "D&B" conversation with Caroline was an attempt to influence Caroline even though she didn't nominate either D or B.

As far as I can make out Jason has now got a legendary reputation as a gameplayer purely because he was first to press a button and evicted somebody that a lot of viewers didn't like. Those viewers now hail him as some sort of hero.

I agree with you that the negative use of "game-playing" is about things like that, though it can be done in lesser ways too and needn't go quite Game of Thrones. (People who think game-playing must be ok because BB's a game show are letting the coincidence that both phrases contain the word "game" mislead them.)

Unfortunately, the main use of the phrase "playing the game" has been to excuse underhand or manipulative moves, so I have to wonder what's meant when it's applied to Jason.

I don't mind people playing a game but I don't like people being fake and not being honest of who they really are and I think that both Jason and Jackson are doing this. I think Jason did pull the wool over our eyes about his relationship with Charlie, I did feel sorry for him whilst Charlie was in the house but think there's a lot more to their relationship than meets the eye and this is why he was so desperate to get Charlie out because it was messing with his game plan!

I think that Jackson is even more fake than Jason, the crying and playing up to the cameras in the dr is really quite hideous and I'm so glad that Jackson got stick for this on the questions that was asked him from the public! After seeing these questions from the public I think it will be interesting with the nominations this week. Will the men nominate each other or will they take the easy option and nominate the 3 ladies! Who knows?
