Its quite in incredible how Celeb Masterchef can continue to do so well. They can get some of the most usless celebs on the programme, but still it rates well. Food shows NEVER fail to rate well for the BBC.
I am a celebrity get me out of here, would " die" to have that level of celebrities.

What a ridiculous comment, a breakfast TV presenter and failed EastEnders actor who left for Hollywood is hardly like having Brad Pitt and Victoria Beckham on there. 😂

Coupled with the fact the BBC will only be paying them a pittance to take part anyway.

If they did get her on I'm a celebrity then Victoria Beckham would be the first person to refuse the bush tucker trial because there are too many calories in a Kangaroo anus.

Awful for Eastenders.
I haven't paid any attention to soap ratings in years as I don't watch any of them anymore (apart from Neighbours) but I've just seen how low Eastenders is 5.5M!!!?? When I used to watch it (4/5 years ago) it was getting over night ratings of at least 8/9/10M. WOW how has it gone so low.

I'd say a standard rating is mid 6m now.

All of the soap ratings are down. In the current view-on-demand climate, a show that airs 4/5/6 episodes a week is a big commitment.

Ah I see, if someone critises BBC, quickly whip out a critisism of and ITV show. That's mature.

Sinitta? Amy Childs? those who seem intent on poisening the judges.

💤💤💤💤 Same point made every year.

Just because you didn't know Vicky, it didn't make her a virtual unknown.
The point I am making is it doesn't matter how famous they are. Punters watch reality shows. You are a fine example of that. It's your gig, no problem.

What was Vicky famous for before I'n a Celeb ?

It is. Was very surprised when Northlad last week said they were dying out. I don't see any evidence of that so far.

Geordie Shore, Ex on the beach, Celebirty Juice, Judge Geordie, Several fitness DVDs, columns in magazines and a couple of novels.

Apart from that though...

Well aside from Celeb Juice, not seen any of the rest and wouldn't know where to find them.
I'm sure her DVD's are great and all her writing is very educational. Cheers

CBB: 2.24m (12.9%) exc. +1
A decent start then - and better than I was expecting.

The launch itself was a complete non-event IMO. Dragged out over 2-hours to get those 15 HM's into the house. I watched the CBB series earlier this year (every episode bar the launch) and actually really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a brilliant series. It was also the first series I'd ever watched on Channel 5. I ditched the whole thing once it moved from Channel 4 (although only ever watched the civilian series on C4 and never the Celebrity ones).

However, I'm not sure if I should bother watching this series. Nothing really excited me about the launch and had no interest in the majority of the HM's. The other problem with these type of shows, is the fact that's it's on every single night, and in this case, for the next 4 weeks. It's a big commitment and after recently watching Love Island (for 6-weeks), I'm not sure if I can be bothered to invest my time so early after LI to another long series stretch.

A new feature length Victoria trailer is to air on ITV at 7.28pm tonight. And in the trailer it says 'Coming to Sunday Nights' which suggests its going to be Poldark V Victoria. Battle of the period dramas.

Cold Feet for Monday in the DM slot.

The trailer for Victoria looks impressive.

I wonder if ITV will launch Victoria the week TXF returns on the 27th/28th August or a week later on the same weekend of Poldark's return.

Yup, that would seem to confirm Sunday nights. Interesting move. Poldark isn't so huge that they should be running scared, but equally period drama vs period drama could end badly. This new trailer is pretty good though, certainly better than the teaser.

Not sure which week they'd be best launching it. Getting the jump on Poldark could help but launching on August Bank Holiday could be a recipe for disaster (as it probably will be for TXF). Or they might not start it until mid-September like Downton, when Poldark will have already aired a couple of episodes.

As for Cold Feet, I think that'll get Mondays, but I'd personally be tempted to put the new 8 part crime drama Paranoid on Mondays instead to give it the best shot. Cold Feet should get well sampled at least wherever it goes so that could hold up on Wednesday/Thursday. That presumably leaves DCI Banks and The Level to fight over whichever of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are left.

How many episodes is Victoria? It needs to be finished by 6 November, (presuming I'm a celeb launches on 13th Nov)

Exactly. Said poster reverting to type (displayed on here last year and before). Disappears for a good while and returns - a couple of weeks in and here we go again...

Yeah, it's the way habits are going, which is why 6 Corrie eps a week is a mistake. I'd like to see EE cut one episode a week and only use a fourth during 'big weeks', but I doubt it would happen.

Yes I think Cold Feet should launch well wherever it goes. Personally I would put Cold Feet on Thursday at 9pm with For The Love of Dogs starting at 8.30pm on the same night. The Level on Monday at 9pm and Paranoid on Tuesday with Wednesday factual and Friday DCI banks.

I'd like to see some YOY consolidated figures for the soaps. I suspect they aren't falling that fast taking catch-up into account, despite some people constantly insisting that they are all in "terminal decline". If that's true how come EastEnders is constantly #1 on iPlayer?

Very long injury delay (he's OK) meant BBC2's rugby league semi-final finished about half an hour behind schedule, so the Clare Balding Meets programme scheduled for 10pm was postponed.

I wonder If there's a chance ITV might put Cold Feet up against Ordinary Lies?

Who wants to watch a repeat of New Tricks at 10:35pm on a Friday night.

I know they've done this many times before when Norton is off, but it still looks odd each time they do do it, when you'd expect they'd show a comedy repeat in this slot instead.
