It's interesting In this day and age how everything is taken out of context. One person types a tweet, then that's , considered a lot of people. Papers do this, the tabloids look through forums like thus or Twitter to find a win that meets their view and then say Socaol media tsunami backlash, when it's one person.
This week The Express did an online article comparing BBC costs like Match if the Day to GBBO, it was so flawed, but at 2 pm, it was The Express opinion, by 4 pm, it was a social media storm. Actually they started it, one person responds favourably and they change it from their opinion, thus us how tabloids operate.
The Article compared increased costs of PL Football, to GBBO, didn't mention PL came out of the sports budget and other sports dropped due to it, didn't mention four million MOTD viewers, or MOTD2 or football focus, or the new premier league show, or that they run August to May, but felt that £25 million for ten hours and an extra slice was fair.
But that's so called Journalism for you.
