Victoria consolidating towards a 3m timeshift. I suspect if Poldark were not on, it could be overnighting at 6m and consolidating over 8m.

BBC News does well wherever its scheduled. In the evenings its basically garunteed a 3.5m+ audience.

After Victoria, the news got less than 2m. For the BBC the news in over 4m. BBC1 is the preferred channel for news, but I think if ITV went straight to news after Victoria finished, and started at 10pm, the rating for ITV news would be higher.

Btw, the highest rating for The Chase last week consolidated was 3m. That was the Celeb version in a 7pm slot. The regular edition at 5pm got 2.92m. If ITV used the regular edition at 7pm before TXF, I bet it would be pushing towards 4m.

As people said yesterday, the earlier start time dented XF. But I expected better from XF to be honest. Victoria is a definite hit. Poldark much the same as last week.

The EX Factor continues to under perform, and this is rather embarrassing, after all the hype of the New (Old) panel, and the comeback of Dermot, it's not getting viewers in through the turnstiles, in fact Antiques Roadshow is just slightly behind, and so the real Antiques are catching up the antiques on the XF judging panel.

SCD is back and as Gavin says SCD will help XF next weekend. I see people post here XF needs the ITV soaps to prop it up, well that isn't just good enough, XF should be propping up the ITV schdule and it's not doing the business.

As there isn't viewer engagement XF could do very badly in the live shows.

BattleBots is doing alright on Spike, 219k for the second episode which is up from 204k for the first. I expected it to do a fair bit more given it followed on nicely from Robot Wars and got decent promo onscreen, and I think they probably did too, but still their highest rated programme at the moment.

I was surprised to see the new series of Ink Master and Ink Master Redemption premiere on TruTV last week, rather than being kept back for Spike in the UK like their other main US programmes have been. Maybe the poor performance of Tattoo Disasters, which has failed to draw a decent audience despite multiple attempts on Spike, 5STAR and Channel 5 has now put them off that genre entirely.

For me the stand out Rating for the weekend is the 975K for Friday Night Football. For a 4 hour average. That is really good. But the fact Sky don't have 2 Box Office Sunday games is really hurting.

Anyway it is averaging 9m so far. Antiques Roadshow and Countryfile consolidate at 5.5m. Yes the XF is only 'slightly ahead' but it probably will hang on to that lead.

It's astonishing. That would suggest that the match got 3m? On a Friday night that is a cracking audience when you consider the amount watching in pubs too.

I don't know why they don't have a pre-game and post-game show (ala America) so the rating is clearer.
