Certainly sounds up against it ratings wise to say the least. The hashtag didn't seem to throw up any positive tweets at all, although I may have missed them.”

So Pointless should be into the 3m+ bracket tomorrow.

Its good ITV try out replacements for The Chase, but it would be better if they made sure they are in the same league as TC.

Mike Tevee -what was MBB's figure on BARB?

Getting really close to abandoning CBB. The producers clearly adjusted the number of people facing the public vote to avoid the hugely unpopular 'Bear' from leaving. There hasn't been just two facing the vote for ages, then they suddenly decide to do that instead of having three.

I expect others will feel the same as me. If ratings start to dip, we'll know exactly why.

Well, they might as well. It'll do just as well (badly?) as anything else they've shown at the weekend in recent weeks. Plus it'll attract the elusive male audience that ITV seek.

Someone in the DS Cash Trapped thread provided a sample of the many negative comments posted in DS after the very first episode of The Chase. So, who can tell, eh?

Meanwhile, BBC1 have already started heavily promoting the feature-length 30th birthday episode of Casualty due 27th August. And ITV are also heavily promoting The X Factor.

It occurred to me, on the most recent time I saw an X Factor trailer, that these two programmes are likely to clash. No wonder they're being so heavily plugged - especially Casualty.

I don't think if it drops it will be down to that. It dropping would be due to the fact that there is a feeling amongst most is that it will be a hard watch like CBB5.

As of now, civilian BB was FAR better but I think this week could be intersting. Especially after the eviction. The fact we could see an ultimate demise of younger reality stars is something that excites me.

Is that returning with a new case?

I don't recall a price bump four years ago for the Olympics RT. The bloody thing will soon end up costing its weight in gold. I buy it but they're truly exploiting their readership with the pricepoint it's at and the constant price rises.

Yes, but the same French ex-copper played by the wonderfully named Tcheky Karyo.

If it helps the weight of the Radio Times certainly feels like it could be made of gold heh, very heavy

Nice one, just had a quick look on wiki. Keeley Hawes and David Morrissey are the parents? So can't wait for this series now.

Crikey, they're really proud of this one.

Good night for BBC4. CBB rose nicely from Sunday as expected.

Nice rise for CBB which should have it at 1.7m-1.8m. Naked Attraction around the same as I would have expected. Good night for BBC4. Eden still in the low 1s excluding +1.

Radio Times are doing a subscription deal, 12 weeks for £1. Tell them you didn't receive a couple of copies and they just extend it. Then put it in the wife's name for another 12 weeks.

Good to see Wentworth Prison go up, but still a few hundred thousand down on what it was getting on Channel 5, and interesting to see it was topped by The Mysteries of Laura.
