I've just watched the first part of TXF (I haven't watched yesterday's), but now that Sharon has just sent all the talent home, and put through poor singers - I think I'm out. I really cannot stand watching another lod of poor singers in the LIVE shows for another year.

I suspect many will follow. I think TXF live shows will be rating in the 5-6m region. They really have balsed this up. Idiots. All they had to do, was kick the rubbish out.

It's one category, get over it. Are you supposed to agree with every one of the judges' choices?

Not when they put the rubbish through instead. Let me guess you think Sharon and the idiot Louis made the right decisions?

Do you think Honey G can sing? Does she entertain you? I bet I can guess your answer.

This show has the perfect oppertunity to turn itself around, but no it decides to go backwards and piss about again.

The two who did the best judges houses performances went through...

Honey G is of course a different matter, but it was hardly surprising. Nor do I think anyone particularly special missed out. James forgets the words half the time, Janet is dull and Samantha was dreadful. Peyton is talented but wouldn't last.

Honey G was trending #1 on Twitter even before the results were out. She got people talking and that's what they want.

I suspect there was some ITV influence here. They'll want it and The Voice to be as distinct as possible.

I have to question why Simon would want to play ball in relation to The Voice UK though - they're in direct opposition, if The Voice UK takes off for ITV it could put the X Factor's pressure as key autumn show under pressure. If anything he'd want to squash it at second birth.

It's not like they were bad singers though. You're being a bit of a drama queen over it. I was disappointed James and the other guy didn't make it through but have you ever agreed with all 4 judges' choices?

And yes, I think Honey G is the funniest novelty act XF has had in a very long time, if not ever.

That 3 year deal probably helped persuade him. Plus I think he likes having the novelty acts around. As we were saying earlier, they've always had them. It's just Twitter was around for people to vent on back when Chico was put through!

I think the producers really truly have messed this up. What gets viewers watching is talent and personality. The judges have left out most of the talent/personalities and put through mediocre people.

Does anybody know why Simon Cowell randomly picked an act from bootcamp to go to judges houses? It was very weird.

I think it was a certainty Honey G was going through. She is likeable though.

Maybe ITV want a more fun orientated X Factor and a serious The Voice UK?

What is a bit questionable is Sharon sent home two of her acts at the chairs yet now puts them both through.

So tonight's Strictly hasn't gone down all that well in the tabloids. Claims that Anastacia had a "meltdown" and refused to take part. Many are saying she should have forfeited her place. If she was genuinely injured, I feel for her.

British viewers won't like Anastasia from now on. She seemed sulky. Why did she sign up to Strictly if she didn't feel that she could dance? I don't blame the producers, what if she had genuinely hurt herself? What if she's in the dance off again next week? What if she does the same?

I actually preferred the "Viewers Vote Elimination" rather than the judges deciding in a dance off. It makes votes more valid.

I'm sure it's got absolutely nothing to do with him going out with one of the girls in the show. They wouldn't want that sort of publicity would they.....

You are rapidly becoming the new ADP. Why not make some positive posts?

You've got to admit a contestant getting through without doing the six chair challenge is strange.

I expect the two contestants dating to split up and have a major bust up backstage when publicity wears a bit thin.

Why can't you make positive posts by taking on people's opinions and not launching into defence because they dared to criticise it?

And I find this "becoming the new ADP" insulting, aggressive and quite nasty.

Except he did do the six chair, as a group. They're always changing people in and out of groups, and everyone brought someone back from six-chair challenge. Nothing unusual about that really.

And there's been hardly any publicity over this relationship, not many viewers will have heard and nobody who doesn't watch will have heard either.

Simon Cowell chose the wild cards though. Obviously he thought the lineup wouldn't be very interesting. I also noticed the same contestant is 'sponsored' by Vodafone (I keep seeing adverts on my Twitter feed), so I suspect that's a factor.

I bet by the first live show the relationship will be very, very public.

To be fair he did do the Six Chair Challenge as part of a group, at which point Simon said they made a mistake sending him home at Boot Camp. It was shown on Xtra Factor but omitted from the main show for some reason.

I would have picked 8 out of the 12 live acts; I never have a 100% success rate. I don't think anyone would have a 12 out 12 strike rate... what would people have to talk about otherwise?

Well, this weekends Judges Houses has been a major disappointment.

They've sent all the talent home. Some utterly bizarre decisions. They've really messed this up, I can't see people been happy with this. A lot of negativity on Twitter and everyone I speak to are saying how ridiculous it has become.

I can see ratings nose-diving over the next 10-weeks. It's a massive shame after a good start, some amazing talent - for it all to be sent home cos they want novelty acts, poor singers and some real boring people. Very, very disappointed by all of this.

Me (and pretty much everyone) are fed up with your posts and bias. You're on another level to A.D.P and Samuel.

Mods, Why on earth is this person still allowed to roam around on here?

I'm sorry for having an opinion you don't agree with. There's no rule against bias, otherwise most posters on this thread would be banned.
Can we not debate without such hostility?

Yes, I admit I've been a bit hostile in the past but most of my posts are perfectly reasonable & well-argued. There's no need for me to be cornered like this over my opinion.
