A nice rise for EE from Tuesday.

I'm really enjoying the feel of the show at the moment and the best the show has been since 2014 personally with the exception of January 2015 until Live week.

With many cast members saying the show is returning back to basics and that everyone seems to be happy with Sean O' Connor, I think great things are ahead for the show.

Any news on Emmerdale for last night?

Emmerdale top soap. Great to see. Whell done Emmerdale. If the spoilders are anything to go by for next week, his soap desrves to be top soap next week as well.

It would be nice to see Emmerdale touch 7m next week.

Celeb Juice is doing so much better than last year. Its neary double I believe from last year.

Interesting to see both Emmerdales above EastEnders, it's strong at the moment.

The One Show has gone back to normal after it's jump at the start of the week.

Great to see Celebrity Juice so close to a million.

We can be very hypocritical here. Criticising The X Factor for manipulating situations and then we love The Apprentice and it does the same. Just an observation.
I watched both late last night and it's already reminded me why it's my only must-watch show on the BBC. It's just great fun and you can see the sly, misleading editing in it.

They have one outstanding personality who must go far and the woman who led the girls last night is also a good watch. She will stay in for that reason and the fact that she has, as Louis Walsh would say, a good look.

BBC2 had a good night, no sign of You're Fired though unfortunately. BBC1 did well too. I think ITV did well until Paranoid started.
You're Fired got 1.44 million viewers.

Yup, it is the same thing basically. Both produced by Thames so not really surprising. Is Richard Holloway involved with The Apprentice at all?
The Apprentice is not a Thames production, it's produced by Boundless. Both are subsidiaries of Fremantle, but Fremantle is a bloody big company. Almost as big as the BBC.

Nadiya Hussain has signed up with the BBC to continue making films for The One Show and to develop an exciting range of new BBC projects which will be announced in the near future.

She won't be doing Bake Off on Channel 4 then?

Very surprised to see Hunted, exc.+1, top a million despite the Apprentice clash...I've gone off it this series personally. The first episode was a slog to get through and I haven't bothered since.

Emmerdale rising as the big week approaches.

Seeing as both Emmerdale and Corrie have their big weeks at the same time, I'm surprised ITV haven't done a campaign for an "unmissable week of soaps", rather than trailing them separately.

That seems little more than a guess, to be honest. Besides, French and Saunders are mates with Mel and Sue - Mel and Sue used to write for them, and some of their first TV work was on their show - so why would they want to do it?

Hunted really isn't doing well for Channel 4, being beaten by Nightmare Neighbour Next Door on 5 yet again.

The Apprentice is not a Thames production, it's produced by Boundless. Both are subsidiaries of Fremantle, but Fremantle is a bloody big company. Almost as big as the BBC.
I assume it's made by Boundless which is the factual arm of Fremantlemedia because it doesn't fit the output of Thames which is broad entertainment shows.

Didn't realise they was going to be a new series of Extreme Railways, the last series did very well for 5 increasing week on week and that was with a three year gap between series! I assume Mondays or Thursday at 9pm.

As someone said they're both produced by Fremantle but not Thames. The Apprentice has always been in a completely seperate department to X Factor, BGT etc with not much crossover in staff at all. Saying that, Richard Holloway is now CEO of the entire company so technically he is kind of involved now!
