Totally agree, starting with the awful weekly Crimewatch and then random factual since then at 9, including a BBC3 Reggie Yates documentary. For one of the most popular nights of the week, it's been pitiful. Planet Earth II can't come fast enough (which I can't wait for.) Although I do think Inside Out is okay for 7.30, it still gets 3.5 million.
