The Sun is reporting this " fix" - and the DS X Factor forum as well.

They can't get a lot right.
The other day you said The Sun was useless. Now it's your favourite paper...

Your anti-X Factor fixation is actually quite hilarious.

I don't see the "random" jukebox as a fix. It's just a bit of fun in a similar way that the Wheel of News on Mock the Week is "random".

I would have been very surprised if it wasn't a spooky theme for Halloween on TXF.

A rating! For QI on Friday, as requested. It got 1.81m

It seems a little low for the new series and its new host

From the Mirror: "A spokesperson for the show once again stressed that the series is not fixed: "Themes on the jukebox are genuinely chosen by random choice. It's pure coincidence."

LOL
OK, now I'm seriously concerned about that comment,

It was obvious from the first time that is was fixed. Not a major issue with me, as its just a little fun, but if they're coming out with statements like these, then they have serious issues.

Yes, when it suits someone's agenda.

From rzt:

BBC One
Countryfile Autumn Special: 7.03m (37.1%)
Strictly Come Dancing: 9.92m (43.9%)
* peak: 10.60m (44.9%) at 19:55
Antiques Roadshow: 5.84m (25.3%)
Poldark: 5.04m (23.8%)

ITV (inc +1)
Celebrity Chase: 3.01m (13.8%)
The X Factor: 6.52m (28.3%)
* peak: 7.46m (30.8%) at 20:50
Tutunkhamun: 3.71m (17.5%)

Countryfile did well as always, Strictly up around 700k on last week and a good peak, Poldark did well and up on last week, X Factor solid on last week but down only 140k on last week and Tutunkhamun did fairly well, didn't drop to disastrous levels like I thought it would.

And let the spinning/arguments commence.

Agreed. If they said from the start it wasn't random, and removed Dermot spinning the wheel, it would be fine. If it came out spinning and stopped on the theme they've pre-planned, that would be fine.

I think it's a bit of fun, but the spokesperson shouldn't try to say it's a random spin.

It's a very ordinary figure for it, hardly 'woah'-worthy.

My thoughts exactly Oliver. Strictly is getting some high ratings early in the series like in 2011. And that's with the problems of injury, illness and people pulling out.

Good to see Poldark rise up above the 5 million mark, and Countryfile receiving its Strictly boost again.

It's staggering how Strictly can boost the entire night on BBC One.

Better for X Factor. Also quite good for Tutankhamun, considering it's up against Poldark. Those who were watching both big dramas will have just switched to Poldark.

Dan, let's not start making ludicrous comments.

It's a brilliant figure, but you'll never admit it.

You would be whoa-ing if it was TXF, BGT or The Apprentice. To pretend otherwise is to show a liberal disregard for the truth.

Good hold on last week for TXF though, and a decent rise on Saturday's lacklustre number. The wheel incident was laughable though. They had the opportunity to have a laugh with it because we all knew it wasn't going to be a random selection at all, but they failed and thus they looked silly.

X Factor doing okay. Similar to last week with a slight dip in rating and share. The peak for the results won't be big until the final I'd imagine.

17/10/2016 - The X Factor: 6.66m (28.7%)
23/10/2016 - The X Factor: 6.52m (28.3%)
* peak: 7.46m (30.8%) at 20:50

What X Factor's? Yeah you're right.

The peak must have been helped out by Tutankhamen. And peaks show how much casual interest there is. Just using your theories Dan.

He'd be great working for the Labour party - it's just like X Factor.

The entire BBC schedule skews so similar, so the boost feeds into each show.

BBC One have managed to build up a regular Sunday audience with a group of programs that work together very well.

ITV need to try and target a different audience, or do a Victoria and put some really good stuff up against BBC One.
