The 8pm Channel 4 rating might be interesting as according to another thread, the advertised programme disappeared half way through after the 2nd ad break to be replaced by a filler programme, due to unspecified "technical problems".

I expect Planet Earth 2 will be Sunday 8pm for one week only. It will move to 9pm the following week when Poldark finishes.
There are 6 Sundays between the end of Poldark and Christmas Day and 6 episodes of PE2, but BBC1 will probably screen the final of The Apprentice at 9pm on Sunday 18th December hence the reason PE2 must start before Poldark has vacated its slot. I hope I'm wrong and that PE2 stays in the 8pm slot for the duration because that would be a neat alternative to X Factor, but I strongly suspect I'm right. Quote:
Well it's looking like Planet Earth will stay in that slot for its duration. An advanced screening of the drama My mother and other strangers is being shown this Thursday. Its five parts and is apparently destined for Sunday in November. This one seems to gone under the radar.not heard much about it at all.
This is a good slot for Planet Earth. With its Strictly lead-in, it has a good chance of matching Antiques Roadshow's 5m+ overnight (and will probably time-shift considerably more than AR). I'm A Celebrity would present much tougher competition, especially the launch show and the final. The last episode of Planet Earth will clash with the final of X Factor but the final will presumably run until 10pm so it would be possible to watch Planet Earth and then see who's won X Factor. |

A rating! For QI on Friday, as requested. It got 1.81m

Err by 'out in front' I obviously meant with a gap that size. The two are normally much closer.
Stop stirring the pot.

With Planet Earth II going to Sundays at 8pm, I wonder what Mondays at 9pm might be? I'm thinking it's a drama like 10 Rillington Place but it could easily be Who Do You Think You Are

I can see the late night chat show having a lot of reality guests seeing as though ITV can see it as an opportunity to promote shows like the only was is Essex or any other reality tv shows. In terms of viral views the Graham Norton show clips sometimes gets millions of views when there is a Hollywood star but this chat show will only feature B class britsh guests so I don't think that's a route for them.

Bit careless in BBC1 Presentation - they are running trails for GBBO ''tomorrow'' when it's actually on tonight.

Interesting as well to see if C4 react in any way. It's going to affect them more than most whether it's a hit or not, with the likes of The Last Leg likely to be affected if they keep their schedule as it is.

Remember this is the Radio Times, the place that put Pointless Celebrities above X Factor in its 'Best Shows On Today' section. I think that's enough for anyone not to take it remotely seriously.

They don't review shows based on the number of viewers, the Radio Times in particular reviews niche fayre, and they of course show a dislike for soaps on all channels.

1.5m saved the date with #MarriedAtFirstSight last night, making C4 the best performing commercial channel at 9pm Sounds like the ITV flop zone continues. |

The most interesting thing here is that there were 1 million people watching TV at 3.30 in the morning. What could they possibly be watching?!

No surprises with the ITV ratings. They need to put the effort in every night. Put some rules into force, that if any of the main channels put a cost cutting schedule, they are fined and it's bosses are banned from working in the media for stifling creativity.
