Thanks Ray.

I think F1 on Channel 4 will have dented the evening programmes on BBC1 and ITV up to 9pm. Lewis Hamilton won it in the 8pm hour.

Well done BBC Strictly. Another great show last night. Sad to see Anastasia go mind.

And well done to Love Production's GBBO earlier this week for another fantastic rating and final!

6.22m (25.3%) for X Factor. Not great but it seems everything before 9pm was dented by the F1. It peaked at 7.54m which is actually slightly higher than last week (again suggesting the F1 caused the average to dip slightly).

A bit weak for Humans, looks like airing against two other dramas hit it a bit. Going against I'm a Celebrity won't help.

Solid 5m+ for BBC1 shows again. That's the way to do it.

Also, I've noticed Tipping Point is on repeats again this week, why don't they line up the new episodes with the Chase? Or is the Chase on a bigger budget to deliver more episodes?

Excellent ratings for Peter Kay Night on C5. The 9pm programme beating Humans - excluding +1 channels at least - is a real surprise.

In case people haven't seen it yet...
Spoiler
One of the reasons I did not get too bothered about HoneyG and others in judge's houses was that I know the public will also make bad calls IMO. Gifty was the best singer and she is gone partly thanks to Sharon again doing what Louis says. Simon at least fessed up over his song choice.

I like the bottom three gimmick but a Scottish act has a good advantage in these 5 minute votes. Especially when he's a 'boy'.

I expected 6.2m assuming 3m were watching the finish to F1. Hamilton winning was always going to pull in viewers to C4 and sky.

The third programme in C5's Peter Kay "Night" (in reality 2.5 hours), Early Years was 4:3 content from @20 years ago stretched to fit the 16:9 frame - The sort of thing you get in clips from sloppy broadcasters who don't want to windowbox archive stuff. I only lasted ten minutes as the bloody thing was giving me a headache due to the distortion.

Any rating for this?

They can't even bother with a studio audience which is pretty lame. As Lucky Stars shows, TP is suited to an audience rather like Wheel of Fortune.

Live coverage of the #MexicanGP averaged 2.9m viewers with a peak of 3.9m last night on Channel 4, highest rated race of the season so far.

If its omnibus screening hadn't taken off in the way it did, EE would've likely been much higher for the first showings of massive episodes in 'the good old days'.

For some reason the Corrie omnibus never took off in the same way. Perhaps because it hadn't been around from the shows' beginnings like EE's pretty much had. Them throwing it out at different times depending on the region probably didn't help - this wouldn't have done their first showing ratings any harm.

The same people being so keen to exclude EE from 'top' lists on the basis of the omnibus being included are probably the same ones who refuse to entertain any data that doesn't include +1.

I don't mind no studio audience, it's just when they add the fake laughter. I know they do it on the Chase.

Well done to C4, money can buy you ratings. Just hope they remember they only have it because the BBC gave it up.

Well every other channel has had a piece of Peter Kay, dont see why C5 shouldnt have a bit too.

Next race could bring in a bigger than usual highlights rating for C4, Rosberg can take the title by winning the race. It will be down on last year though as this race is not being shown live on C4. (BBC showed Brazil live last year)

I do not get the appeal of Peter Kay at all. Meh. He always rates so well.
