Superb figure for Can't Pay?. Clearly the neverending rpt's don't affect new episodes.
GP's has an audience, and a dedicated audience of 900k no matter what it faces. That's a worthwhile hit to have for Ch5.

At least if Eamonn did the show he would get his face on a programme opening credit - unlike This Morning where he has to present countless shows with Philip Schofield on them instead .

It scared the hell out of me having been to that part of American before they got this campaign going.
I was really impressed with the presenter. She was very brave fronting up to some of those fundamentalists and is a natural on TV.
I suspect we will see more from her in future.

I don't think last night's episode did?!
The season premiere definitely did, as did The Flash's, The Walking Dead's and tonight's Legends of Tomorrow also was available on demand before the episode was shown. I think they're just doing it for the season openers. I could be wrong. I'll try and monitor it next week to find out 100% if they are doing this every week now but was fairly sure this week's Arrow and The Flash didn't appear on demand until the episode had aired.

"Two of a Kind" was the title of series 2 and 3.

Sorry, did not know that. All I understood was that she was formerly in the military and was a liaison with the US military after being forced out here following her transition a decade ago. But that was in the documentary.

Although Ch5 do show some good programmes now, this type of schedule is where it feels like Ch5 in the early days.
Yesterday's suggestions for Ch5 factual - based on the above at 8pm, wouldn't look out of place. I mean for pity sake. Still on Benefits despite last year Ben Frow stating they were cutting down. This series has been on all year, new and rpt's on more than 1 day a week.
It really does pull down the channel image. As does these In Therapy programmes, with the likes of Kerry Katona, and Gemma Collins. Who cares? All these desperate celebs looking for more TV air time and £££!

I prefer Pointless to The Chase but then I also always loved Bob and Les's Family Fortunes. Tipping Point is the best by a mile.
I don't know if they're good or disappointing ratings for Moonstone and Rebound. I think Rebound could do well but they really need to get rid of all of the questions asking why each contestant picked the answer that they chose. It's so inane. Just ask more proper questions and get on with it.

I also prefer The Chase to Pointless. Both are fun to play along with, but the non-stop general knowledge questions of The Chase are the more enjoyable. I like to see if I would outrun The Chaser with each set of questions. Also love Tipping Point. That machine is surprisingly entertaining. I was glad to see Lucky Stars return. I thought it had been axed. Something else we watch on +1 because of a clash with Pointless.

Superb rating for Bake Off. Talk about going out on a high. Assuming that figure is correct the series averaged 13.57m.
That is some achievement. It's also up 1.26m against the 2015 series.

ITV must be delighted with how TP and TC are performing. 25%+ shares for both is fantastic. Judge Rinder is doing fine.
The Moonstone - I tried ep 1, but got bored. Seems to be so did most viewers. Nrmally these dramas in the 2.15pm slot on BBC1 are in the 1.2m-1.5m region.
Fantastic for Bake-Off. Up 1.9m on the overnight. I don't get why nearly 2m recorded it. Why has the final jumped to nearly 16m?

Just reading an article on the DS homepage and ratings thread 'favourite' Stuart Blackburn has joined the Emmerdale writing team. An episode he's penned will be broadcast Tuesday 15th November.
Why they've given him a job there after the shambles he made at Corrie is anyone's guess. Corrie still hasn't recovered from his 3-year tenure. I hope this doesn't affect Emmerdale like it did with Corrie. I will have to keep an eye for that episode and see how it plays out.
