7x60 Doc Martin Also there's Little Boy Blue (4x60). I know Benidorm is a sitcom but it's still hour long scripted and that's also back in January (9x60 this time). |

This Time Next Year got 2.69m (12.6%) excluding HD and +1. Will be around 3.2-3.5m all in I guess. Not too bad but a disappointing week on week drop. It might pick up a bit next week with I'm a Celebrity on after it. I imagine last night's 9pm documentary was very low.
Watchdog also dipped week on week, was below 4.00m. MasterChef: The Professionals getting 2.54m (11.9%) might have caused those 8pm dips on BBC1/ITV. Davina can visit the people in their homes who have made these life changes, like she does on LLF. |

Personally I think it would have worked better to do it in a similar way to LLF, in that its filmed on location - not in front of an audience.

Great boost for The Missing. I think we will see a rise every week until the finale now.

Isn't Doc Martin normally 8 episodes?

Personally I think extending this series to 9 episodes is greedy and will dilute the quality even further. Last series was poor enough. |

Excellent, thanks. I hope I screenshotted the BBC one as I'd like them next to each other.
I make that 117 episodes excluding Lethal Weapon. So roughly 2.5 episodes per week. If that boost it a fair bit it could mean 3 per week which I guess would be Sunday, Monday and maybe Wednesday. Lethal Weapon is the other show that gets it to 3 per week. I can't see where that goes as I don't believe UK terrestrial viewers willing to watch a US drama. Channel5 used to own a series link of mine for Tuesdays at 9 for CSI. Three million would be big for ITV on a Tuesday. |

Is it? I'm sure it was 7 episodes?

I used to watch Benidorm but gave up around series 5/6. Caught a bit of an episode of this year's series and thought it was pathetic. No wonder it's losing viewers. But it still rates well enough and is still one of the biggest sitcoms around. Derren Litten seems to think it'll end after series 10, but I think he said that after series 3 so I wouldn't take his word for it! Particularly now that his embarrassing Are You Being Served revival isn't returning. |

Great number for The Last Leg, C4 capitalising well on yesterday's shocking events with a more light-hearted take on proceedings.
MasterChef: The Professionals as reliable as ever. A shade disappointing meanwhile for This Time Next Year, but I know of a few people who weren't at all impressed with it in contrast to the very positive reaction in here so not entirely surprised. Not writing it off yet though. Can't Pay did well. Appeared to be all new, but next week's from the trailer is definitely a repackaged repeat which is disappointing to see them sneak in mid run, although against I'm A Celeb maybe is the time to do it if they must as it'll be down anyway. |

in what format if any do we get / will ever see any of BBC3s' ratings? views per month ?
I suppose BBC3 is dead really as all its shows are shown on BBc1 and 2 really. So its really BBC1 or BBC2 viewers + i player. |

I thought seeing as we've had a drama list for BBC1, I'd post a list of dramas still to come on ITV.

At this stage they will be more keen to see how they cover it.
They will want BT to make a success of cricket and give Sky some bidding competition. Can only benefit the ECB. BT need more summer sport so cricket looks an obvious target. Ratings will be studied more when they have The Ashes next Summer I would of thought. Day) night Tests are coming up and they should attract breakfast ratings. Similar sort of times as the India v England games. |

Davina can visit the people in their homes who have made these life changes, like she does on LLF. It's a successor to Cilla's Surprise Surprise and I can see it going to 8pm on a Sunday for season 2. Since they've started to ask for applications I'd assume they would film in late winter meaning an air date of say March 2018. That's a long gap between series but I guess would mean it wouldn't have to face Midwife. That's assuming it went to Sunday and stayed at 8pm. It's a little odd they have not planned ahead and not got a new series cued up. |

I agree with Score, the current style works well. The USP of the show is the walk back through the door and seeing the audience reactions is important to it. You've then got the audience reactions to the story of the 12 months including laughter and tears.

BBC1 will have AR on at 8pm which with clean up the casual viewers against TNNY. Its not a strong enough format to sit on the more watched, but tougher 8pm Sunday slot. |

I do find it odd how ITV can't create home and garden shows that can run and run. The BBC and C4 have lots of them in daytime and the evening. These magazine shows are golden. Cooking is another one. I'd say they maybe do not want them but then I think of the craptual stuff they show and .. BBC2 is such a useful UATer meaning shows can grow from 2m like on C4. Though of course 2m is an iTV rating too these days. |
