I predict an opening of 10.13m.”

Well BBC1 are showing a genuine alternative for those who don't watch IAC. So both should complement each other.

Highest rating performance show since week 1 for X Factor and Amazing rating again for SCD. I really think tonight will have super ratings with IAC returning.

Good rating for the FoR.

The shortening runtime helping both SCD and XF a bit I think.

It seems a high number. I am not sure how it did last year.

A good night for TXF, pleased to see it break the 6 barrier on a Saturday

I think The Xtra Factor is going to be clobbered tonight with the return of jungle

Meet the Parents - just embarrassing. And still network chiefs persist with the myth that the viewers are elsewhere - they'll be there, if the quality is. Maybe Kevin Lygo will be different as he makes his mark though.

Just. I'd be more impressed if it had broken it without the aid of +1. Even then, without wishing to open a can of worms, it feels wrong to get excited about 6m for XF given what it was capable of only six years ago.

XF did what it needed to and climbed back over 6m. 10% more watched than what ADP expected which is certainly a forward step. I said before it had to get back to 6m and push the 7day back to 7.5m and it might do that.
Tonight's should stay around 6.5m despite the PE2 effect. Yes IAC could help but it could hurt as it'll drop its VOSDAL figure.

Strictly staying above 10m is good though it's a shame the eliminations are predictable; we all know who is likely to win.
The Remembrance performance did very well though you'd expect it to after SCD. Nice to see MTP increase a little bit and Ross held steady above 3m.

Next week.is more interesting with CINeed highlights up v Tipping Point and McIntyre against XF.

A bit of a hit taken then.

People are certainly looking forward to the return of IAC.

I think TXF will be down tonight, as the comp. from PEII increases, and those who last wek watched TXF on +1, skip it and go straight to IAC. I think TXF will get squeezed out.

I predict.

SCD 10.5m
PEII 10.1m
My Mother & Strangers 5.4m

TXF 6.1m
IAC 10m

The rise for PEII will boost SCD.

It wasn't directly after SCD, there was the usual Lottery format which dispersed towards 6 million viewers. It is a decent figure as it wont be all that far off XF without +1 and also considering its late finish.

Exactly - but I suspect LP are beginning to panic as the longer the show is off the air the less interest there will be when it returns, none of which seems to have occurred to either LP or C4 when they did the deal.

Like GBBO, IAC has deliberately been made into an event. It is anticipated because it genuinely feels special. Even though I don't like it (and I can't watch it, I find it hideous), I do understand why people look forward to it.

I am looking forward to the BBC1 drama tonight. It looks similar to "Home Fires" and as it's Remembrance Sunday today, I think it will manage a good 4m+ rating.

It's interesting how Bake Off gets a lot of hype over its ratings, but there's a possibility we may get three shows rating over 10m tonight. When's the last time that happened? I'm scared for Humans btw, a great show that should never have been aired during this season, late summer would be better.

It's going to be bad for Humans tonight, I love Humans but will be watching IAC and catching up with Humans and My Mother And Other Strangers. Humans would have been better on Tuesday's against Ordinary Lies and Rillington Place.
