If anyone has access to this week's Broadcast magazine would they be able to post The X Factor and I'm a Celebrity's +1 figures (and also the overnights inc. +1)? Should all be in the top 100 network programmes section Many thanks!

The end can't come soon enough really, can it?

Had its moments I suppose but overall not the strongest series and I think that's gradually been reflected in the ratings.

Agree.

( although I was admonished for posting exactly the same thing last week).

Really? The ratings on the whole have been very good and up year on year. As recently as Monday it got 9.1m. Last night was just a blip I think thanks to The Missing receiving a surge for the finale. Overall I think they'll be pleased with how it's gone and the reaction seems to have been good.

The Chase (including hd and plus 1) 3.76
Pointless (rpt) 3.23

Another great rating show for Jenny Ryan

I watched the whole show is less than 20 mins, too much padding now they need to get some really awful (in a good way) people in next year.

This, " exactly" is what my family do.

It's either recorded on TiVo, or on demand from ITV Hub, and they FF it, cutting the Ant and Dec bits Adverts ( on TiVo), and padding, and each episode is watched in circa 20 minutes.

C4 schedules they can't get anything right at the moment, people have been switching off.

Info now coming through on BBC Media Centre site in relation to first week of 2017.
Details on Silent Witness very unclear. Placed on a Tuesday but confirmed for the Thursday. FA Cup football on the Friday.

IAC is a completely different beast to CBB or BB. Big Brother thrives on contraversy. IAC doesn't need that.

I found many people are enjoying it being more fun, than nasty as it was last year. Ratings are up YOY.

More a personal opinion on the quality of the series. 7.5m does seem a tad low for last night though. I don't think it could go on much longer at its usual level, not with this cast.

The past three or four weeks have been a mixture of old and new cases. Better than a full-on repeat, but were never going to rate as well.

Still, there are few shows on C5 that could still be pulling in over 1m having ran for 25 weeks of the year - probably more than that actually including repeats.

I expect it will be back stronger than ever for Series 5.

I see now IAC had a poorer rating, suddenly its a good oppertunity to slag it off. Only on Monday it got 9.1m.

I think you'll find awful people with turn a large chunk of IAC audience to turn their TV off. Having such high viewing figures, means it watched by all ages. You only need to see what happened last year, where many said it was too nasty and turned off.

IAC highest rating series was in 2013, when again it had a nicer group of people just having fun.

There is a reason why this series is up YOY. Last night's rating must have been knocked by The Missing.

I don't know why people don't do that more. SCD is a 30 minute show, 20 minutes now with fewer contestants. XF, MOTD and the news can all be slashed.
However, Ant and Dec should not be fast forwarded, they're superb.

I only watched Monday's IAC last night so I don't know if it's weakened but it's been a fun series. I would like them to change the way they do the Trials but generally it has been a gold watch (mainly thanks to two men).

I completely agree. I notice that if BB has a string of episodes where not much happens, ratings go down. Viewers just want to see drama there hence why they seem so driven to cause rows (however the last regular series was well received and was a balance). With IAC I like the more feel good series after all the crap in real life.

Relax. If it can still be doing 7.5m when it's been as rubbish as it has been the past few nights, it's the clearest indication yet that the show is effectively bombproof and can survive just about anything relatively unscathed. But let's not pretend it's been a fantastic series when it hasn't - you're better than that. You can have nice people exclusively and it still be interesting. Whereas this hasn't been in the slightest.

Only Martin, Joel and Scarlett have remotely delivered entertainment wise. Of the rest Larry looks like he's falling asleep half the time and barely says anything, Sam seems to be bordering on humourless and has little to contribute and Wayne has added precisely nothing. Adam, whilst certainly loud and opinionated, is trying overly hard to the point it appears to be false and an attempt to nab screen time - which, when the show is this dull, is not exactly a great feat.

And those are the people still in it, so anyone not watching can only imagine how bad those who have already left must have been.

According to ITV press Midsomer Murders has been handed a series 20 for air in 2018.

It's that time of year again for the Daily Mail

Half of the shows on the BBC's two main channels are REPEATS

Ironically the 2013 series was by far my least fave.

What are you saying? Just have Strictly be a 30 minute show? You can't FF the news. You need to see the bulletin to get perspective. There are people out there who enjoy the punditry in MOTD (I know shocking) and the judges bit and VTs on Strictly to just take the mick out of it because there are some fans like me who love ALL the aspects of Strictly just to give us ammunition and more material to be shady and laugh our heads off.

Imagine a 30 minute Strictly how bad it must be to be in the audience. You need the padding to change the set around and programme the lighting in for the next dance.

If you have quick reactions x30 is a fantastic invention
