I memba.
![]() Though I am slightly terrified of what Twin Peaks on a premium cable channel with basically no restrictions on content will be like.

Well I hate to burst your
bubble, but if ratings are down it'll be much more likely people are streaming stuff, possibly in their own room, or watching box-sets on Netflix etc. (hence the shows in the top 5 in many peoples lists), or playing Games on their devices rather then sharing a around the whilst opening ![]() But then sky has a strong slate on and that will certainly have an effect like you say. I know it's been an awful year but have things reached a stage where we are having to share a ‽

It was indeed originally scheduled at 9 p.m. in Wales but a few days ago they moved it back to 11.10 in line with the network, rather curious decision

When he refuses to sign a controversial bill into law, political chaos ensues: a constitutional crisis, rioting on the streets and a tank in front of Buckingham Palace. As Charles wrestles with his own identity, the playful and poignant drama explores the implications for him, his family, and his subjects. ... Innocence To David’s total and utter astonishment he is acquitted on a technicality and although suspicion still hangs heavy over him, he is free to walk from court and to begin the long road to rebuilding his life and to restore his reputation. But at what cost to him personally and those around him? Will David win a custody battle to reclaim his children as he seeks to establish his absolute innocence? .... Set against the backdrop of 18th century Georgian London, Harlots is a powerful family drama offering a brand new take on the city’s most valuable commercial activity - sex. Based on the stories of real women, the series follows Margaret Wells (Morton) and her daughters, as she struggles to reconcile her roles as mother and brothel owner. When her business comes under attack from Lydia Quigley (Manville), a rival madam with a ruthless streak, Margaret will fight back, even if it means putting her family at risk. Brown Findlay will star as Charlotte, Margaret’s eldest daughter and the city’s most coveted courtesan who begins to grapple with her position in both society and her immediate family. Given the Spider Man film on ITV2 only a few day ago got 800k or so, the rpt last night got another 500k.
I suspect ITV2 will do well with its films again this Christmas. If The Lion King doesn't rate as well on ITV Christmas Day, it'll be pick up an audience on ITV2 over the next few days after. |

Thanks for all the festive ratings Ray
![]() ![]() Great EE last night so disappointing that it still isn't hitting 6 million regularly. MasterChef Professionals has been a big success this autumn and a great rating to finish it off. Close to the Enemy with 1.5m, I suppose that's okay for a BBC2 drama but the amount of promotion it had on BBC1, it should have done better. Didn't help that it wasn't very good. I agree with H about the food programmes, this comes off the back of Great British Menu which is distinctly similar in format and still gets a bigger rating! Seems people don't get fed up with the format. When you add up the other MasterChef versions, it's essentially on all year round. I thought that would do well, and it did. Always nice to peek inside the lives of the super rich! ![]() I hate to be a downer on WDYTYA but the LIz Bonnin episode didn't even clear 4 million in the BARB 7 days, which is the worst ever rating for the series since it began. Even if they're was a less famous name, people would watch it because they enjoyed the format, but it seems that's not the case anymore. Disappointing again for Ricky, I know it's okay for factual but the calibre of names they had for this series, it should be doing better. Or maybe the interest has run out. Embarrassing for ITV. |

Channel 5 are getting a lot of value out of the Peter Kay Story and the stand up special. WDYTYA didn't do great, I think it might be time to rest it or just do less episodes
