I think they are two different things. The Round to Mrs Brown's thing was filmed a little while ago, and featured ordinary families being recognised or something. This sounds like a show with celebrity guests.

As much as I love Brendan O'Caroll, it does seem like he'll do anything but write a fourth series of MBB. The original stage plays have caught up with the BBC series', so any new episodes have to have new material.

Woeful rating for EastEnders. It should be 1.5M more than this. Solid for both Strictly Len Goodman and Graham Norton Show. But 5.2M two days before the big day is simply not good enough.

He's contracted to do Christmas specials up to and including 2020 and apparently there is another film in prospect.

That's very good for the TOTP 1982 episode, but did the viewers miss there was an episode at 7pm as well heh

Will EastEnders see a massive jump for Christmas Day? I can't see it.

Disappointing for EE. There's been no build up to the big day whatsoever. Last year everybody knew the big secret about Mick and Dean would be revealed, and knew it would be dramatic.

A surprise EE return is supposed to be happening tonight. However, it's been ruined on Twitter, but EE/BBC One could have promoted 'a shock return on Christmas Eve' to try and draw viewers in.
