Quite true.

Not bad for the soaps. A really good rating for Harry Potter. As Dancc mentioned, it being at least a year since the last Harry Potter repeat run has probably done more good than harm. 3.8m on a Tuesday is a really good rating. You can see why ITV do it - it got a skew of 26% among 16-34s (so about 1m of them watching), which is really good, and puts them in a good position when it comes to promoting their programming for next year. Better promoting it to an audience of ~4m than 2m.
Witness for the Prosecution didn't do too badly but I think they might have expected more.

How many people have seen Skyfall now via repeats? Repeats very well.”
Solid night for BBC Two up til 10pm. Isn't Inside No. 9 usually much higher than that?
The movie repeats did really well for ITV2. Skyfall consistently manages 1m for ITV2 so I'd say quite a lot over accumulated showings.
A quick look on Overnights.tv shows that Skyfall has been shown 11 times on ITV2 including last night. Each time it has ended up being split around something like FYI Daily.
Anyone know how the George Michael concert did on BBC One at 10pm, as well as Walliams and Friend?
