BBC2 showed the Morecambe & Wise 1976 Christmas Show on Christmas Day at 5.40pm opposite Dr Who and Emmerdale and attracted a respectable 1.9m which I think was the channels highest audience of the day.

The schedule they went with is awful. Spider-Man is at a really weird time away from the main days and it throws the rest of the night off, with Emmerdale in a random slot and Harry Potter on way too late and split around the news. Awful scheduling.”
Well, we'll see tomorrow when the overnights come out. Maybe we'll discover it's another irritatingly sassy piece of Christmas scheduling from ITV.
