Last night's screening of MBB was the
first repeat of the Christmas Day episode.
And we all complained about Mrs Brown being screened too late on Christmas Day so here's a prime-time screening for those for whom 10.30 is too late.
In this multi-channel age same week repeats are very common practice across all channels. It's a sensible way for channels to boost the ratings and overall reach of their programmes.
The two screenings of MBB pull in a combined overnight of about 9.3m. Add in time-shift and iPlayer and take off those who watch more than once. (There
will be some.

) we could be talking about 12m viewers so that means it can match the ratings of some of the more popular comedies from the age of four channels.
