Thanks.
![]() A good figure for EE, though I can't see it lasting too long. Holby got a boost as well. Looking less like a sitting duck than in December. Silent Witness befited from ITV not showing anything of note. Hopefully next week, ITV can have a Tuesday or all its programmes above 3m. Tbh I think Holby is only in danger in the minds of a few in this thread. It won't be axed in the 4.2-4.5m range it usually consistently rates in and it seems resilient to most competition. There's an assumption on here that people are only watching Holby because they're being forced to for some reason. The Holby thread in the soap forum on here and a quick search of Twitter shows that the show does have fans who actually enjoy its storylines as much as any other soap/serial drama. I say that as someone who doesn't watch it. |

One article I read suggested they're only for 2017, so presumably they'll be used until the start of December, or maybe until January if there are Christmas variations on the same theme.
Apparently, there are going to be lots of these idents over the course of 2017. I can't remember the exact number. Might have been 32. |

What will be the benchmark of success for TVUK?
Rating better than what was on ITV last year? Rating better than ITV's slot average for that time? Highest rating show in its time slot? Rating higher than Let it Shine? Within 1m of TVUK on BBC One last year? Beating TVUK on BBC One last year? Beating the highest ever episode of the TVUK? Beating the highest ever episode of any talent show since Popstars? |

I hope the ones to come are better than the ones that have aired so far. Those wrinklies in the sea are already doing my head in.

That's not too bad for CBB actually around 1.9m. Held up fairly well. No offence did well!

Good looking "naked" figures for ITV there. Poor schedule on BBC1 from a ratings viewpoint. Sherrifs is a repeat, albeit revised. That's pretty poor for January primetime imo.
Not too bad, but I think Midsomer should be doing better than that. |
