Thanks Hassaan. Watching some of the old ones on Drama the show just feels completely different on ITV. The characters felt less like caricatures in the show's heyday.

Can't you praise EE's rating without a backhand to the compliment?

Tbh I think Holby is only in danger in the minds of a few in this thread. It won't be axed in the 4.2-4.5m range it usually consistently rates in and it seems resilient to most competition.

There's an assumption on here that people are only watching Holby because they're being forced to for some reason. The Holby thread in the soap forum on here and a quick search of Twitter shows that the show does have fans who actually enjoy its storylines as much as any other soap/serial drama. I say that as someone who doesn't watch it.

Apparently, there are going to be lots of these idents over the course of 2017. I can't remember the exact number. Might have been 32.”

I hope the ones to come are better than the ones that have aired so far. Those wrinklies in the sea are already doing my head in.

Whatever its ratings i'll be watching it just as much as when it was on the BBC which was never heh

Don't get why Idents matter in any way, they are just a bit of nonsense between programmes to me, just as stupid as a bunch of hippo's going round in circles. Watching old swimmers in the sea does nothing for me.

That's a good 3 hour prime time block for C4.

Sheriffs is lower than I thought. Perhaps having been in daytime for so long, its less popular in primetme.

I'm pretty sure this rated well in primetime before.

GPs did well. CBB should be around 1.9m in all, so not too bad. It could have been much worse.

Good looking "naked" figures for ITV there. Poor schedule on BBC1 from a ratings viewpoint. Sherrifs is a repeat, albeit revised. That's pretty poor for January primetime imo.

I think they should be around 6.4m, 7m and 5m all in.

Not too bad, but I think Midsomer should be doing better than that.
