BIB2 Yes we agree. The BBC does have the highest number of quality programmes. BUT! Your point is weakened by a bias that is so engraned, that, for exmple: would you agree if an ITV drama was as good as a BBC drama? Unlikely because you will not ever venture away from BBC1.

Exactly. Just my opinion but over the holiday ITV's In Plain Sight and Maigret were just as good and up there with the BBC's Rillington Place.

Exactly. There are countless programmes I enjoy across several genres across several channels. I just don't see what the problem is - the programme is there, the content appeals, just zoom through the ads if it bothers you.

Spot on H. But because it's moved to ITV it's now seen as inferior and unappealing and prejudged before it's even been screened...
