Rafa not used to the crowd cheering his opponent.
He has played Murray at Wimbledon a few times. He is probably used to it.

Well I hope Murray doesn't play like that against Kei if he is his next opponent.

Yay Rafa up next.
I sometimes think Murray prefers to play against higher ranked opponents he's used to, rather than someone lower ranked who can take him by surprise.

These courts don't help. I thought they were meant to be like the US Open ones, but they are much more slow. Was it deliberate, to get players to turn up, but to advantage the local clay specialists, or did they just lay it wrong?

Some commentators were talking about it being very gritty because it had just been laid, but surely there's more to it than that. It's not going to speed up by Sunday, is it?

i've never been so aware of linesmen before they are miles away from the wall almost with the player receiving serve, then they run about - how off putting for the server

The ball boys (who are over 40) keep moving about during the rallies also. Fabio told them to stop moving yesterday.

he should've realised - he is playing a Brazilian after all.

I read that too quickly and thought you said her Royal Box.

It's not nice booing him though just because he wins a point.

I'm not so sure about this. He had a pretty dodgy record against top players (Djokovic, Federer, Stan, Nadal) from around 2014 and has only recently started to put it right again.

I think today he just thought it would be an easy ride and was caught off gaurd by Johnson raising his game. Same as yesterday basically.

Oh I'm sure he did, he would be silly not to expect booing from this crowd. Maybe it's difficult to prepare for until you actually face it.

true, booing is out of line, as is cheering for mistakes.

Dunno but the BBC had to apologise for the comment Paul Hand made during Jo's match when he said he hoped they didn't show 2 blokes kissing during KissCam.

i saw that and hoped he wasn't commentating when rafa and marc got through to the doubles final

i'm going to say it but i think the brazilian audiences are really rude.

They have no etiquette.
