I am determined to bask in the joy of seeing my 2 favourites contesting gold and silver medals. I refuse to be stressed (if Rafa gets through).

it's strange how it happens isn't it?
there's been matches where i thought i was supporting one player but my gut gets tense and is supporting the other!!!! now in matches like those i just wait and see what my tummy does!

Keep this break intact Delpo, please.

I still have no favourite to win but if Delpo gets momentum Rafa better keep playing and not pull a sickie like he did yesterday. Djoko would have been slaughtered for doing something like that.

He was ahead in the match at that point though 2-1 in the 3rd. It's not like he was stemming the tide.

Nice one Delpo. Rafa looked fuming!

It's a very physical match, whoever gets through will have spent a lot of energy whereas Andy scampered through in about an hour and 20, surely gives him an advantage.

But on the plus side for them, it will be a boost to both Rafa and Delpo to have played a decent amount of tennis over a few days, after coming back from their respective injuries.

Tell me about it.

I doubt it... she's a different player when she plays for her country

Pleased she won a medal though

It's like Andy knew and didn't want to put us through it twice in one day

This is ridiculous. Still can't pick a winner.

It's so nerve wracking!

I wonder how much the winner will have left in the tank for the Gold match?

Safarova and Strycova win the all Czechia battle for bronze. Andrea Hlavackova was still getting treatment during the match for the battering Hingis gave her yesterday!

Why does one of Rafa & Delpo have to lose? Such a great match.

Are Argentinians piling into Rio?
Those empty seats, they just thought head up the coast and take over?
