Because 3 sets is to 5 what twenty20 is to test cricket. One can be played by any chancer and the other sorts the men from the boys.
In that case it should be that way for the entire tournament not just the final.

It should be but I presume it is a time thing. This is the Olympics not the tennis Olympics so there has to be a compromise.

Except they don't have the time to do that. The tennis part is only 9 days long.

Those who love a bit of symmetry in life will like this:

Andy has 3 GS
And will have 3 Olympic medals

lol, has he actually done it then? He said Leicester wouldn't win the league, if they did he would do MOTD in his pants.

He said last year, if Leicester win the PL, he would do the 1st MOTD of the new season in just his pants.

Just be grateful he didn't say he would do it in the nude!

it'd be too much, especially where it comes in the tennis year.

Seriously woman where the hell have you been living for the past few months? I loathe football but even I can tell you why he's in his pants.

I'm curious as to why you say 'slightly good'?

I'd say it's blo*dy brilliant! Especially given Laura's (poor up until now) year.

Laura winning would be a great story after everything that has happened

Really proud of Rafa he played great and I'm really happy for del Potro after all he has been through, Hope Rafa can get the bronze in singles. I was so happy for him and Marc getting the gold in doubles.
