Not sure I got an answer to my q earler. If Puig was planning on playing qualies in Cincy, has she now missed the cut off the entering qualies, since she is still in Rio playing a Gold Medal match?

Really proud of Rafa he played great and I'm really happy for del Potro after all he has been through, Hope Rafa can get the bronze in singles. I was so happy for him and Marc getting the gold in doubles.
that was superb wasn't it?

Maybe if she was in the qualies they put her through to the MD?

Wanted Kerber to win pre-match but totally on Puig's side now. Such bold, brave and aggressive tennis. She wants it more I think.

I can't warm to Kerber at all so I definitely want Puig to win.

Not wishing to sound like that computer man guy or whatever his name is, but shame on the BBC for not putting this match, even just the closing stages, on BBC 2 or BBC 4.

Put the Philly back in the fridge. No freshly baked bagel.

But maybe some butter to go with that baguette or dip to go with the breadstick?

But we're all watching it anyway.

Surely it's time to get over the idea that the channel something is on is important. If you want to watch it you'll find it. You can stick all the dancing horses / trampolining / badminton / archery / judo / shooting / cycling etc etc on BBC1 and I still wouldn't watch it. I imagine there are plenty of people who feel the same about tennis.

Yep, I suppose you're right. And neither would I watch dancing horses, tbh.
