Is Freya one to watch out for?”

Well Freya made the Fed Cup squad this year but didn't play. Not such a prospect as the younger Katie Swan. She's a bit hit and miss.

But players mature later these days. There's only 1 top 100 player (Ana Konjuh) younger than Freya.

Thank you - much appreciate your replies. I don't follow the lower tier other than what gets posted on here except where Laura is concerned.

Max also didn't put a foot wrong. I kind of what Louis to get the pommel horse gold now that Max has one.

Well yes I meant Louis gold and Max silver rather than the other way around. I wasn't considering any other nations.

I'm watching to the end, even if a its Kei win as its prob my last chance to see Rafa play for a while, not having Sky or Eurosport.

Louis has come off 3 times this year including last week in the team event.

Kei channelling his inner La Monf with that leaping volley.

I fear Rafa will be settling for the dreaded 4th.

I know. That's what happens when he over does it. Hopefully he'll have learnt from last week. I think the order might have an influence as if someone else does really well before him he'll start pushing it and be at risk of coming off.

At least all four will have a medal. If Kei loses he will leave with nothing. It will mean so much to him. I still don't want him to win but looking at it impartially that's the best case scenario for the 4 of them.

Aww Rafa. He has no more left in the tank.

He does have a gold medal though

Nadal is pooped. I can't begrudge Nishikori a medal.

No way Delpo has a chance over 5 sets with Andy.

Unlucky Rafa, you looked totally cream crackerd, understandably so. Still a great Olympics though, taking home a Gold Medal.

Up to the semi final i was shocked to hear he'd played 11 matches in 6 days

sad he cant get bronze but like you so eased he got Gold in the doubles.

It seems much much hotter today than prior matches. Must be when you see a Majorcan draped in iced towels between games. Will that bother Andy more than Delpo maybe?

Andy is deffo fitter of the two though.

It's amazing when you consider he wasn't even sure he could play prior to it starting.

Only in that Delpo has managed to get this far. And I guess it helps he knocked out Novak whereas Andy has gone through his draw fairly quietly (minus Fognini and Johnson).
