Wow this is an Atp match I'm enjoying. that ace at 6-6 with all the momentum with Stan was huge.

Dan's playing fantastic.

I'vo often wondered how good he could have been if he had the dedication and drive that guys like Andy have.

Evans gives break back. There is a chance that he could lose to fatigue but he's playing much better than I thought he could.

I don't know exactly - I was out in the kitchen at the time trying to fit my fridge door round the other way ha ha (Don't ask...) - but basically I heard something about how he has done his utmost to implode his LTA career - with a pretty nasty sneer to it.

It was the Eurosport 2 commentators, not these 2 on Eurosport 1

No lies. Dan's been wasting his talent his whole career, opting for being a party boy instead. Here are his delightful comments when Bedene changed nationalities.

That's what I was referring to above. It's not even that long since he just went awol at a challenger is it?

Awol from Davis Cup as well. There's not even an argument for me over who I'd take.

Plus the loaded xenophobia in the 'English accent' comment was hilarious given that last time I checked Andy didn't have an English accent either.

Oh he's a bit of an idjit, but to my eternal shame I can't help but like him, he's so different from the pre-packaged identikit players that are around today.

Oh - I didn't know he'd said that about Aljaz, must have missed that gem. I never totally trust the reporters though... but it does smack of sour grapes.

Thank God Andy has such an upper crust English quip eh.

Can't help myself - I'm still rooting for him though!

I think that the US crowd love an underdog even more than our audience. The crowd seem more on Evans' side to me.

Same here. You can take anyone's words out of context and make it sound totally different from what they meant.

Commentator saying Wawrinka doesn't deserve to win it is maybe a bit too biased.

Quite glad I'm a bit of an insomniac tonight, this is one hell of a match, brilliant play from both of them!
