Do they change the schedule every year according to the draw?

Always used to watch the ladies SFs on a Friday evening UK time. Even last year I can remember them being played in New York daylight.

Del Potro & Murray both losing

I suppose supporting Kei will have to do since he is my #4 favourite. Ideally Monfils would go onto win this thing now, but LOL @ the chances of him beating Novak.

In the US, tv dictakes a lot of what matches are shown which is annoying i agree but ESPN pays a hugh amount compared to Eurosport however Andy Murray has played at watchable times like last night.
Also if Wimbledon & Roland Garros had evening sessions then its highly lightly both William's sisters would feature dew to there popularity.

BMS and Lucie are hilarious. Taking pics with their crew.

The crowd or non crowd is a disgrace. There is nothing much else going on. There are other players besides Serena and Venus.

They seem a wee bit chuffed with their victory.

I want Gaël now.

I expect that's jinxed him against Nole, just you wait and see.

And Katie won only 1 more game after that.

Does anyone here know the reason why Hingis is not with Sania Mirza in the Doubles anymore

Well you couldn't call yesterday boring, if a little heartbreaking. I fell asleep watching the start of Williams v Halep and woke up at 5.45! Checked to see the results only to find Wawrinka Del Potro were still playing, so managed to see the last half hour or so. Loved the cheer Del Potro got from the crowd before the last match.

Hmm, Cicak is back for Jamie Murrays match. Luckily he seems calmer on the court than Andy so she probably won't get a repeat of last night.

I dont think it has worked out for both of them as Hingis got knocked out today

I have to say when i heard Hingis was partnering Coco Vandeweghe i was very surprised, as you would never thought those two would be doubles partners

And by the body language of Coco at the end of the match when she walked out of the stadium on her own says that the partnership will be over by the end of the year

Well Coco practically threw the last game away single handedly. I think she missed every shot she attempted. Miss Vandeweghe is not known for her niceties on court - let alone after a match!

And i dont think Martina Hingis would like to see that reaction

I think right now she may be begging Mirza to be her Doubles partner again

I remember when Hingis tried to make Lisicki happen in doubles, soon got fed up when she realised the workload she was trying to take on.

This article on Coco's love/hate relationship with doubles is telling.

The men's singles semis are a better time for us than ladies.
8pm BST for Novak v Gael.
Next one to follow that.

Martina and Sania were far more suited personality wise. Something tells me the reason they put out was not the real reason they parted ways. But will just have to accept they're over. Coco is a loose canon. Very unpredictable.

Loving all the doubles ES are showing today.

It is good how they are having all the Doubles matches before the main event

Yes, for all their faults the US Open does give the doubles a good showing. I miss most of the Wimbledon SFs in doubles as they are played whilst the singles are on at the same time.

The only thing i hate about the schedule is how late the Womens Semi finals start

I will see the first semi but the one after i will probably miss it as it is so late

A very bizarre partnership indeed! I think Coco lacks the professionalism and dedication that Martina is more acquired to so I can't see it lasting at all.
