lol, I like to think he photoshopped that himself.
Indeed, they weren't too fussed earlier in the year. That's exactly why Rafa is going, he's not worried at all. I can imagine if Andy had decided not to go there would have been lots of comments saying - He's made the right decision, family comes first.

Obviously not planning a family anytime soon. There will be some who are though and I think it's perfectly understandable they would choose not to go.

Why don't players just say as there are no points on offer at the olympics, unless there is a chance of a medal what's the point.
I think they have made a mistake dropping them. How long did they last? Four years? One year? |

They were right to drop the points for the Olympics. The event is open to all players based on ranking.

So yeah it doesn't really effect him. I'm not sure about Andy, I wouldn't give him a pass, but that's because i'm dead inside and don't see the point in having children lol. |

Bet you wish you hadn't bothered.
![]() He looked very tired which is understandable considering his recent schedule. Have to say I prefer to watch the showman rather than this Gael. Great improvement from Djoko after the QFs, pleased with his performance. ![]() |

Oh yes I agree with that, I've always said that if it is a genuine concern then fair enough. I think they recommend avoiding unprotected sex for 6 months after symptoms start (in men). It's 8 weeks after recovery for women. So unless they are trying to get pregnant now or this year, I don't see the major risks. Which is why nobody believed Milos' original reason.

I haven't noticed but I very much approve of the equal opps approach of men being judged on their anatomy.

I expected the Keys/Halep final to be a hot mess and it delivered. Halep read her like a book and sat tight for the inevitable torrent of errors. Quote:
That's very interesting, I never thought of it that way. I don't think i've really considered the ITF and ATP as rivals before.

Yeah it was dull in the end. I much prefer the showman. He needs to find a middle ground where he can win but still be entertaining.

Very much so. Differing objectives, interests... I welcome thee out of lurkdom, clever clogs. ![]() I've really missed him. One of the few Aussie yoof with his head screwed on. Er, I still found him entertaining? Difference is this way he can have fun and win, as opposed to being the resident circus act/sideshow of the tour. Leave that nonsense to Fognini and Paire. Andrea Loathsom strongly disapproves. ![]() Luc-ass 1 Luc-ass 2 Enjoy ![]() I enjoyed.

The Olympics are meant to be the pinnacle in sports but with Tennis, Football and Golf it really isn't. For most the majors are more important and there are a lot of Tennis players that would rather win the US Open than Olympic Gold. The games are however an opportunity to play for your nation. Being able to contribute to a medal table is something completely different. Looking at it in a Tennis sense you feel that Novak really wants it. Olympic gold is the only thing missing from his CV. And with Roger not playing and Nadal and Murray already having Gold's you sense that it will make Djokovic's hunger higher that Murray and Nadal. Still it should still be a good tournament and at least the problems it has are not as bad as the problems the Golf has had! |

Oh, Jamie & Bruno lost to Dodig & Melo
![]() Dan Evans is playing Atlanta. If he comes through his r1 match against Yoshihito Nishioka (ranked 97), he will play Dolgo in a re-match of Wimbledon. |

How come the mens final is on now and the womens doubles final is later
Would the final be better played under floodlights, like the semi finals |

Pathetic Nishikori. These guys just keep disappointing in big matches. Monfis, Berdych, Raonic, Nishikori... just all the same mentally weak disappointments. For some reason I thought Monfils would do better but he was even worse. Hopefully there will be some real tennis talent coming through from the next generation.

Great play from Djoko to win his 30th Masters 1000 title.
![]() They showed the 2013 Montreal SF earlier, in the rain delay. What a great match that was - apart from the result of course. ![]() I miss those days.
