Mladenovic and Garcia look absolutely gutted

Well winning the first set so easily and still losing the match must be hard to take

Even more gutting when they had the chance to serve out the match in the 2nd.

We are more understated and would cringe at an American style commemoration.

when you see the american military at events you think how nice is that but alot of the time the military has to PAY the event.

I agree with Max that it has become an indoor tournament on Ashe.

Just sent you one. I advise using adblock on all streams.

Ok, that was a great point. Even better that Stan won it.

I guess if he's only going to win one point it might as well be that one.

Assuming Djokovic wins this how long do we think Djokovic will continue to dominate the game for? As if in winning 3 out of 4 slams a year at a minimum?

We know he turns 30 next year, and traditionally speaking tennis is a harsh sport for people 30 and upwards.

But can he realistically continue to kick the sh1t out of the tour for another 5 years with ease?

Invent a time machine and I'll tell you.

I think Novak will win another two Grand Slams next year and then he will be just two behind Roger

I don't even want to imagine that.

Mats is annoying the crap out of me.

Crumbs he's going to be even more unpopular among certain groups if that happens! However he's running out of time so I think Roger's record will be okay. Should beat Rafa's though.

I didn't mean it like that (), just that I find the crystal ball gazing pointless, anything can and does happen in sport. What will be will be. Irks me just the same as when unnecessary pressure is dumped on new breakthrough players, eg how many slams will so and so end up with?

Courts must be a little slow out there today with both these guys (Djokovic especially) getting nearly everything back no matter how hard it is hit. This seems more like an Australian Open match.

oh i agree Lisa especially when people see someone play a couple of matches predict they will win xxx amount of Grand Slams and then spend the rest of their career slating them every time they play for not fulfilling their predictions. I don't understand that at all!

I'd expect Novak to win about 4 more in the next 2 years if he remains healthy. After that at 32, it will be more difficult but could still win 1 or 2 more.

I can't see Rafa or Roger winning another one and although Andy could pick up the odd GS, you do have to wonder who else is capable of winning a GS.
