Depends on fitness but signs are looking good. Even Murray gets tired after a while when he goes on a decent run. It's just the norm for Djokovic.

Well played Stan!

What a hold!

Must be about time for a Djoko medical time out.

I think he's got this without any of that.

Really wish they would do something about the court speeds and variety in the game. These guys are just getting their rackets on almost everything. Like Wilander said, there is a lot of court to cover out there. Doesn't seem like it because of the court speeds.

Deleted.

we can certainly scrap the talk of a straight sets win.

He is head and shoulders above anybody else but the tournament has played into his hands with the withdrawls. Boris said it helped in in the first week to manage his injuries.

Novak looking very tired; Stan is bullying him on court.

1 set all. Game on.

Yes Stan! If Novak goes on to win I can be satisfied that is wasn't in straights.

Stan the man again.

Stan needed that.

No way was he coming back from 2 sets down.

How many towels are on the chair next to Stan? A dozen?

Stan has been on court for 9 hours longer than Novak. Normally that type of thing doesn't make much difference to these guys. But 9 hours is pretty significant.

The big question is what Stans got left.

18 hours vs 9 hours on court coming into this match, might have an effect yet unfortunately.

Especially as most of the time they have played in very humid conditions.
I was there in the first week and couldn't even sit outside in the shade.

I don't think I'd say Nole is dominating the Men's draw. He was knocked out the Olympics in the first round and limped out of the third at Wimbledon. This final is in the balance and I wouldn't bet against Stan despite him being on Court for nine hours more than Nole at this tournament. Nole is a brilliant player but he's not defeating everyone in his path, particularly of late.

I think this summer was a blip with his family problems and injuries.

Why is Djoko smiling so much. It's creepy.

I'm not so sure. We'll see if he manages to take advantage of what should be Stan's fatigue here.

I'm not saying Nole won't win a lot of titles moving forward but I don't think it will be him and him alone - not with Andy and Stan sniffing around.

He's certainly not with it at the moment. Not for the first time in recent months his service game is not up to scratch.

If Novak does not win this US Open, then he can forget about reaching Rogers total of Grand Slams

It's good to see Nole dominating the men's game here...

It was always his weakest shot at the best of times.
