He's got to be in big trouble now You can't argue with somebody in the crowd!

Yep! Somebody shouted from the crowd to "respect the court" because he was quite blatantly tanking the match and Nick decided he'd have a go at the heckler. The umpire kept telling him to stop but he continued prattling on.

Here was me thinking we were about to see a more determined Kyrgios next year after winning a big tournament but it was back to Nick we all know and love or hate

Keys is through in Linz. Chirico has 2 set points against Kerber, but rain stopped play.

The tennis madness of 2016 continues, oh Nicky what are we going to do with you? The highs and lows come as a package sadly.

In better news, Konta taking time out of her schedule to do some volunteer work.

With Rafa going out, that leaves Novak's half of the draw wide open for him to cruise through. Only 2 other seeds left in his half and 5 other seeds in Andy's half. I can't see any of the remaining half in Novak's causing him any trouble but that will obviously depend on his fitness and mentality. I hope Andy brings his 'A' game.

To be honest even with Rafa in the draw, Novak's road was clear to the final. Novak would have no problem with Rafa.

I thought Cilic, Dimitrov and Kyrgios might have prevented him cruising through but I'm pretty crap at forecasting matches

lol, I work on the boring assumption that Novak will win everything regardless. Between the 3 of them they have beat Novak once (Dimitrov). Nick could have caused problems, I don't think they have ever played each other. But..... we know what happened with Nick today!

Pretty incredible really that Nadal will make it to London on this form. Although in another sense, slams aside obviously, he's had a reasonably solid year. Obviously not by his incredibly high standards though

Konta has to keep on winning to keep the pressure on.

Konta is first on court tomorrow at 8am (UK). Rain stopped play today, so Kerber will have to finish tomorrow and Venus's match is postponed till tomorrow. It's a bit odd that there not starting till 3pm each day in Hong Kong, but there must be a reason for it.

I guess it's not all bad, Garbine won a match today. Fingers crossed she makes it 2 in a row tomorrow.

What a soulless vacuum Linz is. Purely existing just to be a pawn in the YEC chase.

A better player would've punished all those BPs Garbine was giving up.

Don't take this win from me Lisa! I'm clinging on to the hope that Garbine is improving.

Can you watch Linz legally or do need to use other means?

It was better than some of Garbine's recent matches, the problems she did have were mostly of her own making, switching off a couple of times at 40-0 on serve.

Don't have much choice at the minute. The Sky box has started playing up and no amount of reboots, forced updates, etc is shifting it so I'm waiting on an engineer call out. The latter stages should be on Eurosport.

Oh good, thats slightly more positive, I hate to see her look like she wondered on court by mistake.

I tried to find a way to watch it but had no joy. Eurosport weren't showing it, at least not on TV. Sounds like you will just end up with a new box, I assume they have spares with them just in case?

I'm thinking of switching to Sky from Virgin, as a new customer i'll get more for the money I think. Plus I desperately want Sky Atlantic, and ITV Encore so I can watch endless repeats of Poirot and Sherlock Holmes.

Can't understand how Linz has survived all these years in the same place on the tour, yet the likes of Zurich and Filderstadt were dropped. Zurich in particular used to be a very well organised and attended tournament.

Lol no she wasn't that bad!

Eurosport usually skip the early rounds, because of course they can't bear to part with the snooker and motorbikes for a few hours. ES2 is showing some Linz action at 7pm and tomorrow they start from 1pm.

Yeah the call out covers a replacement if they can't fix it. It's had a good innings, had this box since Sky+HD was first introduced.

Virgin isn't available here, so it's basically Sky or bust. Sky Atlantic is great for all the HBO goodies.
