Got a good laugh out of this photo I must say.

Anyway, nice to see Delpo win the title in Stockholm, although clearly we know his wildcard should have gone to someone more deserving. Like Ryan Harrison.

Venus has come under a bit of criticism for snubbing this interview. On the one hand I imagine she didn't appreciate being approach by a camera crew and having a microphone shoved in her face. But on the other, it comes across extremely rude and conceited.

In other news, as of today, Maria Sharapova is now an unranked tennis player

She seems to be having fun though, getting drunk and singing Karaoke. In the end this maybe her first proper break from tennis since she was 5, coming back from injury is actually harder work then just playing. Making the most of it, and acting like a teenager, she never really was, is not what I expected, but she seems to be doing that.

Sounds like the reporter was asking her a stupid question so she did will to snub him.

Do not approach the Queen when she's off duty. Martin's big mistake was assuming Venus actually had an interest in F1. Mercedes gave her a champagne soaking to make up for it.

Not nearly as awkward as Ted Kravitz and Woz in Monaco.

Absolutely. I don't blame her for just ignoring him. If some random stranger just walks up to someone and shoves a mic in their face rambling nonsense - best to just look the other way.

So Kuznetsova just hacked some of her own hair off

Hacked off a proper chunk too! I remember Andy doing that in the ATP Finals last year.

Oh Aga why? Twice in a matter of weeks she's had MP against Kuzzy and blown it.

Great win for Kuzzy. Must be running on fumes.

I think for the rest of her career, Garbine should just play RG and nothing else.

Funnily enough the only time Garbine has beaten Karobot is on clay, so this isn't surprising tbh.

Nope. Just choosing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Another game of getting the yips when serving it out. *sigh*

Her movement looks good, but she was 5-2 up and now its 5-5. She has totally lost her head. Pure panic mode.

I don't have BT Sport. I wish I could subscribe for a week.

I think that sums up Garbine's wonky season in a nutshell. There's still occasional flashes, she did come back from being a set and a break down, but the mental cogs are just completely burnt out from the RG win. She hasn't beaten a top 10 player since and it shows.

Aga will show her how it's done against Pliskova.

Caro has withdrawn from the Zhuhai rejects event citing a 'foot injury'. Bit daft really, could've used it to capitalise on her recent momentum and get herself a bit closer to the top 10.

Ok, now I can think in full sentences again, I fully agree with you.

It's frustrating because she has all the weapons and she is not afraid of the net like many other big hitters. This match proves to me that it is all mental.

She needs to have a word with Sumyk, his advice is legit terrible. 'You've got to see the ball and hit the ball' WTF? She shouldn't be having her coach on this often anyway, that alone shows her nerves.

I will enjoy watching Aga/Pliskova immensely

Waffle for the sake of waffle most of it and again Garbine was getting snippy with him. Really wouldn't be surprised if he's looking for a new job soon.

This is just too cruel.

Ahhh, such useless information! You always find the best pics. (As do others in the thread!)

I hope Garbine isn't the new Ana....

Kyle retires injured with what looks like a hip injury 3-2 down in the 1st set against David Ferrer. Realistically, that is probably the end of his season.
