Come on Kei. If you beat Djoko tonight we'll let you have the trophy tomorrow.

If Andy had lost that match then would he have been the shortest reigning World number one in history

For either player, well Raonic now of course. Unbelievable match from Andy, would have lost this last year for sure, comfortably as well. The match obviously got a little bizzare towards the last few games, especially considering both players had held firm before then. Tie break was one of the most intense I have ever seen.

Carlos Moya was number 1 for 2 weeks. Pat Rafter was number 1 for 1 week.

I love Andy!

Does that mean he is year end no.1?

No. Djoko can overtake him if he wins tomorrow.

I like Raonic, Stan and Monfils so I'm accepting the changing of the guard (though Monfils is older and hasn't had a great week).

Raonic has been great since Queens and he's going to be around for ages.

Happy Birthday Lisa! Have a great night!

Jeznen, I feel your pain, very much, of course I miss Roger, but it's gone as far to missing Rafa too!

I just wanted to come here and say congrats to Andy and his fans on the great year and his first final at the WTF's, he's really had a stellar year. Also so great for Jamie to finish the year as number one, who would ever have thought that this could happen, the two being number one to finsh the year together.

Now, which poster was it again who said that the WTF's don't matter as titles and are a glorified exho and do they still stand by that........?

It does seem very unfair that Andy could lose his first match in ages if he faces and loses to Djokovic tomorrow and still not end the year as world number one.

It is ridiculous giving 1,500 points just for winning undefeated. That means someone else could have lost 1 match and still reach the final and only get 500 points.

That would be me and CC... I still stand by it in terms of if Andy wasn't playing I probably wouldn't have bothered with it as none of the matches have been thrillers, even some of Andy's included, bar today's. It could've been a lot worse given how unfit/overworked some players were coming into London. There's also still the issue of players developing lazyitis to avoid being an alternate.

If you lost one match in the group states then you would get 200 for each group win plus 400 for winning the semi final.

Why the hell did I post that last post. Will I ever learn. I thought you win 500 extra points for winning the final but losing 1 match?

There's no extra or bonus points for anything.

Winning it with no defeats = 1,500
Winning with 1 group defeat = 1,300

Only difference is the 200 you wouldn't get for losing a group match.

I thought there was 500 points in there somewhere. I give up.
