Kei Nishikori and Milos Raonic are pathetic. These are top 5 tennis players, yet they seem starstruck at the sight of Chocobic. I don't hold much hope for Andy tomorrow

Novak wins to set up the Final showdown on who will get World Number one

Sorry Kei but that was pathetic. You should be embarrassed to take the semi final prize money.

Harsh on Milos - He was one point away from beating the World number one today.

What happened to Nishikori out there? Murray's been on a pretty good run lately, might lose to Djokovic due to fatigue. I think more wins against Djokovic will start to come next year if he keeps up his recent form though.

There isn't any semi final loses prize money. Just the money for the two matches he won, plus participation fee.

I wouldn't have. He played like a man possessed against Rafa when he'd rolled over in the previous match.

Jewels does not forget.

Hahaha, I wasn't actually thinking of you guys, there may be another someone.
I do think it's an important title, if you can be all of your closest competitors in the one week, it's impressive and obviously hard, to beat only guys in the top eight to win it. Also the list of names who have won the title.

But it has gotten commercialised, but that's the sport nowadays, or anything!

I have to admit I haven't watched this one, I'm having a break this year. Other then Novak and Andy this year, the others you have there are ones who roll over and can just give up in a match, like Kei did tonight. I remember when I saw him there live, he's underwhelming. Stan can be blazing brilliant, or give it away, same with Monfils (who does that against the best). A bit of a frustrating group.

In your dreams Andy is going to be deep fried like a mars bar i wouldn't be suprised if Murray pulls out to save himself the embracement , because he's gonna be mugged off on national TV - he hasn't realy faced a top form Novak and tommorow he's going to come up realy realy realy short - he's going to look like the worse world no 1 in history of tennis / also the shortest no 1 in tennis history , I can't Waite to see him deep fried on prime time TV - if he bails out with fake injury tommorow then he will not loose face BUT if he takes to the court , he's gonna look like a two bit chump , I can't Waite

What a day of two halves, one great match up of intrigue and guts from two players and yet another flop of a match with Novak against Kei.
The first game set up for the second perfectly but instead we got a one sided, bland and quite frankly gutless game. To be honest, I guess many of us expected nothing more and they delivered.

The Eurosport team tried to bolster the first few games by stating that Novak was playing amazingly, they must have been watching a different game to the rest of us. Kei was simply spraying the balls all over and mostly into the net. Yes, we all have bad days but at this level, guts and adrenalin should take over, sadly it did not.

So, now we the perfect final, the final the tennis world and the press all longed for, what a surprise.

Not realy - murray is exhausted because he's nutritionally NOT GOOD ENOUGH ! Murray couldn't dispatch nikishouri like Novak did , why ? Because Murray is just not that great , is it realy worth winning the Eastbourne cup for his legacy ? NO ! But keeping fit and aiming for grand slams should be , but he's more incline to hoover up points in tin pot tournaments avoiding real class players just so he can become a plastic no 1 for a moment - good for him , but were does he rank in tennis history compared to others ? Nowhere , that's his legacy - if Murray realy thought he was any good he would stay fit and concentrate on the slams alone , but he knows he's not , and that's the truth , he's just not that good you lot are like the BBC commentators you put him up there on the most false pretence ! Watch him loose tommorow easily and you lot will say ohh he was close or if he had a day off he would of won ! False pretence

Look like someone's got their bong out tonight

Anyway, as much as I want Murray to win tomorrow, I've got to be honest and say that Djokovic does deserve the year end #1 more. Sure enough Andy's playing like the #1 right now, but at the end of the day 2 slams and 4 masters is obviously better than 1 slam and 3 masters. Looking forward to it now... in fact I'd even say I can't waite

I'm sure he will be thinking this when he is being inducted into the hall of fame and getting his knighthood.

appledash is like one of those rabid posters you get on dedicated sports forums. Endless emoticons, wild exaggerated attacks on players, joyous spewing praise towards a player he likes, etc.

I wonder if he realises how childish he comes across?

Lol, Murray is up there on ranking, not a false pretense. If you actually understood the game, the ranking system and what it actually takes to achieve what he has, your comments would not seem quite so ill informed.
