Looks like Aga was made to work in Shenzhen, came through in 3 sets. Watson is currently battling away against Bencic in Perth, 1 set each, currently into a deciding set.

What does everyone think of this new quick scoring in the mixed doubles in Perth?
I don't like it. I like proper scoring. I don't like the way doubles in general has gone with the scoring.

I'm not a fan of any shortening of matches. Tennis will soon become about purely power serves instead of endurance just to appease tv advertising.

What a lovely mixed match with Roger and Belinda against Hev and Dan.

Agree with the sentiments. That Connect 4 or whatever they call it needs to be terminated. It makes the Hopman Cup look as daft as the IPTL and the players themselves haven't a scooby of the rules and seem to hate it.

Vekic lost in the first round of Brisbane, no surprises there. What was the story with that wildcard? Didn't Wawrinka pay for it or it was rumored that it was granted on condition that he'd also play the tournament, or something like that?

It was one of those dodgy WC swaps.

I don't think even Boris will help. He seems totally disinterested out there.

I was really enjoying this match till Struff decided to hand it to Djoko on a plate.

Unbelievable how he blew that first set with so many UFE's.

For a while there, he was the Right Struff and then became the Wrong Struff....

Good to see Kyle win earlier as well.

And then he went off in a Struff.

I saw that earlier. It was like a comedy trip Norman Wisdom used to do.

That's hilarious. Loving the comments - '21st Century Knight of The Realm' indeed. Hope he doesn't get decapitated by the Queen when he gets his knighthood....

I love this boy so much more as time goes on.

He's becoming more and more endearing as he gets older. I think he's learnt not to take himself and other things too seriously. The Spanish guy on the other team was laughing with him also.

Well I've always loved Andy, dry sense of humour and all. I think this is one of my favourite Andy moments of recent times. I also suspect that achieving as much as he has might play a part in taking himself less seriously.

I'd take Andy's relaxed dry humour any day over Novak's forced "funny man" routine

We know you love us really, I've actually just been looking at pictures of Rafa with a Koala bear, cuteness overload.

I hope you've finished getting into arguments in the TV forum now I can't believe you had a post reported in the Sherlock thread.
