He's channeling Diana Ross.
it's doing the trick - so far, a total whitewash

He has a lot of points to defend doesnt he. HEs currently #17, so I guess thats where he'll be seeded? Not sure if he plays again before AO or others have points to defend.
There is "some" difference between #16 and #17, ofc the #17 might prove to be better in the end...

The close 3 set loss to Zverev isnt that bad though after such a long lay off?
Federer will be seeded 17th for the AO assuming everyone turns up. Oh and assuming Karlovic doesn't win in Doha, doing so would put him above Federer. Not that there is any difference between being 17th and 18th seed anyway.

Been a bit ill, so haven't really watched much the last week or so, seems interesting, but it's a similar pattern to last year in the WTA, lots of upsets, but then left with slightly inspiring latter stages of Tournaments. Cornet always fun to watch though.

Laura's won her doubles match in Auckland.

If she hoping for a wildcard into Aussie Open qualifying next week?

A bagel?

I fully expected her to come through in 3.

Surely Konta is the favourite now to win the tournament?

Auckland is dead to me now. The god botherer v Ostabrat in the SF, ewww. Hopefully Konjuh or Gools wins it. Shenzhen isn't much better either, how on earth has Giorgi slipped through that draw? Prays for Konta or Siniakova. Brisbane is all about Garbine v Cornet just a shame it's not the final.

Loved Rafa match, keep it up Rafa! Stupid commentators saying that if Andy was in the Final at this years French Open against Rafa Andy would win I'm not too sure on that.

That would be a tough call. I would like Andy to win but also Rafa so he gets his 10...

Can anybody remember Andy ever being strapped up using that coloured taping players use today? I was just thinking I've never seen him have any visible bandaging and was wondering if it's perhaps a conscious decision or just that he's never needed any?

He has always worn ankle supports and has odd knees. I think he has a split patella.
i think it's called a bipartite patella.

Ha! You know it.

Meanwhile it's all fun fun fun for the ATP as well. That Junior AO champ, Oliver Anderson involved in the match-fixing scandal has finally been charged.

I think Svitolina will win a Slam, just think she's better than the pusher people sometimes think she is, and she seems to have a proper work-ethic. Worked solidly on weights throughout the off-season, and she looks a bit more muscular. Can win against big names too.

Might put a small flutter on her for the OZ.

Don't worry he will retire in less than 3 years and won't win much in the mean time.
