I have to say i'm really pleased with Mugz this week, I wish she didn't have to battle so much, but the fact that she is battling and winning is really positive. She hasn't looked too distraught at tough moments which is good. I didn't expect her to beat Sveta, and it's Cornet next. Hopefully she will flatten her, I rather enjoy a Cornet tantrum.

Not sure Rafa will beat Milos inc, not if he is serving well. Fingers crossed on that one.

It's another 4am start for Jo Konta.

Bedene is into a third set against Klizan.

Bedene wins in 3 sets.

Murray is a break down in the early stages.

Very tough match. I wonder if he trained too hard in Miami as he seems to be very tired.

I'm confused? Laura lost her doubles match today.
She hadn't played that when I posted.

Could it be humid there? A few people in Brisbane look knackered and it's only week 1!

It's quite cool in Qatar. And pretty windy looking at Jo and Berdys match now.

Hmm, that's my 'i'm sure he's fine' theory out the window. Maybe he did go too hard in Miami, is he taking next week off? Main thing is to be fit for AO.

Hope so cause he's not playing very well this week.

At least he's not alone there, all of the top players are playing badly at the moment.

As long as Andy isn't doing a Serena and binning 80+ UEs in a match, I'm happy.

Haha, that's exactly what I was thinking, Kerber got dumped out today and Novak doesn't look at all rejuvenated. Oddly, Rafa seems to be playing best this week, though Milos will be tough.

Jo played unbelievably well against Dreddy yesterday but he's gone off the boil against Berdy now

45 minute demolition wasn't it. Good to see from Jo, but he's struggling today. I still think he can turn things around.

Is the timing of this weird? The story breaks in Australia last year and the first person charged is the reigning Australian Open Jr champ, who is also an Australian while the tour is in Australia.

What is the weather like in Australia and New Zealand like at the moment? Is the temperature making a difference?

Or...perfect timing - max coverage given the tour is mainly in Australasia and it's at their tournament and one of their players.

A re-run of Konta's match just started on BT Sport 2, if anyone missed it and wanted to see it. I woke up this morning and looked at the time and it was exactly 4am, but I was too tired to bother turning my tablet on. I woke up again just before the 2nd set tie break (around 5:10am), so I decided to watch from that point on, when I knew the match had got interesting. I won't set my alarm tonight, but if I do happen to wake up in time for the match, or while the match is still going, then that will just be a bonus.

Kyle's match is at 1am, but neither Eurosport 1 or 2 have it in their schedule (yet they did have overnight live coverage earlier in the week).

Rather disappointing performance from Konta in the end. Siniakova just edged it, despite Konta taking the first set 6-1. Final score 6-1 4-6 4-6 to Siniakova.

Garbine has just retried against Cornet.

The god botherer is into a third set in Auckland.

EDIT: The god botherer has just won after Ostapenko retired from the match.
