Imagine the on screen scoreboard if those two were doing doubles together

Cici Bellis, hip injury.

For the men's qualifying, do we know which players are going to be involved because there are some players below the automatic qualification line that should breeze through qualifying like Bedene and Tiafoe. Will Popsil get into qualifying at world no.129?

Mitu is hot and unlike her similarly hot BFF doesn't get WCs into her countries slam, because she's not French, that's about the only knowledge needed on either.

So many withdrawals it's hard to follow who replaces who. Kontaveit was promoted to the main draw in place of Bellis

So the absentee list (for various reasons) is now:

Keys
Kvitova
Azarenka
Ivanovic
Friedsam
Bellis
Lisicki

Plus the still absent Sharapova

The guys have fared better:

Del Potro
Monaco
Berankis

Well done to Dimi beating Raonic. Maybe he is getting some form back at last.

Titles for Davis, Siniakova and Pliskova today.

Yep, can't say I'm too interested in the god-botherer or the Plisko-bot, but Siniakova has potential.

Oh and just when you think Bouchard maybe maturing there's this. Everybodies jellus of her great beauty apparently. Honestly she seems 12 in that interview. She'll have to bear through her tears with a second undeserved MDWC in a row.

I await LisaB's view on it with bated breath

Some of it is probably down to the writer, but she comes across as majorly big headed. 'No 22-year-old I know has the capabilities I have, has achieved as much as I have. With great sacrifice comes great benefit. It's completely worth it'. I assume she is talking about her personal friends outside of Tennis and sport in general, because there are plenty of 22 years olds out there more successful than her.

BMS and Mirza won the doubles, which means BMS takes the #1 ranking from Mirza.

It is so lonely, winning the Nurnberg Slam.

She's so conceited and not even in a good way like Hingis, Maria and Serena, who've earned the right to drag all and sundry. "Nobody has achieved what I have at 22" Really girl? What tennis history book have you been reading?

For starters, all the above players you mention probably did all that and more before 22.

She isn't playing at all this week it seems. Perhaps she wants to enjoy the Aussie summer - and it's a long flight from Perth to Hobart or Sydney.

Konta is playing Sydney and Broady is in the final round of qualification.

Hopman cup final down to the mixed doubles between France and the USA.

In Sydney, Konta plays a qualifier in R1, another qualifier or Gavrilova in R2 then a possible match up with Kerber

Even Mugz had done more than her by 22...

French have won the Hopman Cup. Pleased for them. Coco V gets on my nerves.

Coco is very funny. "That's what I'm here for, to pick up the slack". Jack : "I already said I'm sorry".

Damn right she did!

That's why i'm thinking it's taken out of context in some way. She can only be referring to her 'normal' mates from home. Which in itself is a bit insulting to her friends, but at least she has a point. If not, she is utterly deluded.

Kiki is funny as well.

She is. Her speech was hilarious. "Richard is telling me what to say but I can speak for myself".

It's great to see players with a bit of personality who go off script instead of sticking to the usual boring speeches.

Stan is looking dangerous. He could win another AO title.

I don't think Novak will be happy to face him if they make it to the final.

It all depends which Stan turns up, he can definitely do it. In a way he is lucky to fly under the radar a bit, he doesn't seem to have the same level of expectation on his shoulders.

I'd be happy with a Stan/Andy final myself.

Just watching the SF replay against Kei. Surprised Stan lost the first set as he was playing very well. Then again, it was a TB and Stan doesn't have a great record this week. And Stan loses serve in the 2nd. Commentators curse. I still think he's dangerous over 5 sets.
