YES LAURA!

Jarmila Wolfe's name - did she Anglicize it and then get married??
You might know her under her maiden name Gajdosova.

Oh come on! It's the weather. The sailing has been pushed back as well.
Still though - hiding the tennis on the awful red button channels constantly instead of showing it on the proper channels, saying there will be tennis on then constantly pushing back the times over and over again instead of being honest.

No tennis today. But on a plus note, GB have their second Gold Medal.

Have they abandoned it for today?

I don't know where to start. Honestly, your entire comment is ridiculous. How is anyone supposed to know what the weather will do? They relayed what info they had. And as for hiding it away - you do realise this isn't Wimbledon? There are other sports to show, especially when we have people in them contending for medals.

Firstly, of course people would have had a good idea what the weather would do. What you think weather reports and weather men are there for? Yet the BBC kept on lying and misleading people, dishonestly pushing the time back again and again when they knew it was unlikely that tennis would be shown at that time.

Secondly, lmao, trash like boat riding that no one cares about being shown on main channels over tennis? That most definitely is pathetic imo. And these guys want us to pay a license for this trash? Hahahaha.

Now you're just being argumentative for the sake of it. You do realise it's not the BBC that organises the scheduling of the Olympic events. They can only go on the information and updates as they're presented.

Slovak tennis player who became Australian, was married to Aussie player Sam Groth for a couple of years, reverted to her maiden name, but is now married to an American

I love tennis, it's my favourite sport, but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy other sports and I'm sure a lot of others feel the same. I've been watching the ' boat riding' and found it exciting , so did all the fans there. At the moment I'm watching the men's gymnastics and enjoying that. I don't have a narrow view that tennis is the only sport that matters.

Seems they are aiming to play six matches today - what would have been the night sessions plus the last matches due on a few of the outside courts. It's the matches that don't say postponed.

I remember hearing years ago about some young players who were posioned, and one of them died. It turned out the pushy parent of a teenage player was poisoning the orange juice of up and coming players, or something. But still very unlikely, I'd hope.
