Ah, that's why Hev was watching Andy earlier? He might regret doing that 3 setter...

Also because they're there to be supportive. Kyle was still playing cheerleader to Andy after he dropped out.

I don't think they'll last that long against Ferrer/ CSN.

But Ferrer is not the same Ferrer as before.

Rafa/Lopez up 4-2 in TB.

Jamie Murray and Jo Konta are playing on court 4 against Sock and Mattek Sands,

It's a championship tie break in the mixed if it's one set all so hopefully not too big an ordeal for Jo.

Still think Ferrer/CSN are a better combo than Andy and Hev. I hope I am wrong.

Andy and Hev are a good MD pair. Played together in Hopman Cup and Hev has just won Wimbledon. I would say they are better than Jamie and Jo.

Whoop whoop. I am daring to hope he can get far ... is a medal out of the question?

Carla is a very canny player though. I guess we'll see soon.

He plays Kei next. I would love Gael to win a medal, esp if Rafa/Delpo can't.

I didn't realise alternates could be from a different country. I thought it was from the same country who withdrew.

He's on a roll now.

someone on twitter has said the 1st alt pair was Ana and Zimonijic but can't remember myself - I didn't pay much attention to the draw...

ETA: it was. ana's left rio for cincy.

So Rafa and Marc were quite happy weren't they?

I'm so happy as well, Gold or Silver medal! I wouldn't mind trading places with Marc for that celebration.
