Sorry I'm still firmly under the impression he supported Chester City when younger and everything I've heard since supports that's view.

Big Sam,Big Sam,Big Sam, it's non stop Big Sam today on the Georgie Bingham show.
What has this guy won?? What has Harry Rednap won?? Sweet FA Yet both are favourites on TS. Quinn was telling George ( again) that he doesn't want people like her picking the England manager and that only people like him should be listened to. What has he ever done in the coaching/management field of endeavour?? Is Quinn intelligent enough and articulate enough to express an opinion more than any one else? |

also even if he did, which he did not. How is it his responsibility to stop the club going into liquidation? You clearly just don't like him and that's why you're saying it.

That is so spot on it's not just driving cars fast these days around a track it's car management lap after lap, the steering wheel alone has about 80 buttons to manage and every single one is important. They manage constantly the tyres, the brakes, the fuel and have to nurse the engines as they only have so many available for the season.
Quite honestly I just don't know how they manage to do it all and still drive around at top speeds of 180mph/200mph for 2 hours each race alongside another 21 cars on a tight track. I once heard a comment that the perfect F1 car would fall to pieces as it crossed the line, if it didn't then it was probably over engineered and too heavy!! |

Jackie Stewart never drove for Lotus as he thought Colin Chapman cut too many corners in terms of car safety and strength.

Isn't Jackie Stewart partly responsible for the wonderfully high safety standards of today's F1 cars I seem to recall he is along with the late Dr Eric Watkins he also did wonders for safety. These cars nowadays are incredible on safetly, they hit things at 200mph and walk out unscratched. [thank God they do unlike in the sad past eh Rod] |

What Iain Lee thought of Jonathan from Swansea last night.
I'm no trained speech therapist but I did get the feeling Iain didn't really like Jonathan very much. ![]() >>>http://bit.ly/2a6uwqq<<< |

Back on topic I think if the two mikes replace Colin Murray I may as well stop listening. Already can't stand the breakfast show because of Brazil banging on about the next six teams any of the top 6 will face. I will always remember the season before last when Southampton were in the top 5 he must have read out the fixture list 5 times in half an hour. As for the two imbeciles ( sorry Mikes) when they were covering for H and J all I can describe there act was ranting a load of rubbish coupled with Graham going on about the time as they needed to cut to another commercial break. Speaking of which over half an hour every hour must be taken up with commercials and stupid trailers. I'm sure they have a break at 43 mins come back on air at 47 go for another break at 53 back on air at 57 then another break at 5 for the news. All the while fleecing people who ring up to make a valid point. Brazil reads out the number to call in and let's maybe one call a hour through surely there must be some sort of rule against that? As for the worlds cruelest horse trainer he is still banging on about his own mediocre career give it a break he was last playing nearly 30 years ago. So clad colly prat has gone never used one word when 50 would do Gutted about Murray but at least he has principles |

If Porky is now saying only 50% of his heart is working that's an improvement, he used to claim that only one third of it worked ie 33%. The thing is that Mike Graham constantly accuses him of being a liar regarding this as Porky drinks, smokes and looks as if he is well overweight, so he doesn't seem worried about his ticker.
Now Murray is going I would think that the "Mike Parry Show" will replace him in the 10am slot, but I do hope that Graham doesn't go with him. The times I've heard them they seem to gossip about yesteryear when they were both hacks in NY and yap about people that most have never heard of. Keep Graham on the graveyard shift. Will Quinn, the greatest living Scouser, hand his resignation in as a protest against an organisation he has slagged off in the past or can he work for a group that treated the people of Liverpool so shabbily? |

There is no way Quinn will resign. Easy money for him. Giving judgement on a profession he was never as good as he made out he was.

Parry and Graham will not get the 10 am slot permanently. Parry has already been there with Townsend remember? That ship has sailed. They will want someone to carry on building on Murray's audience. I'd think that Simon Kelner and another rotating panel of sidekicks will be put in to bat. As I and others have observed, Quinn will not leave of his won accord as he is a greedy, unprincipled so and so. He has got a very cushy berth at TS. He gets so much airtime that he must have some dirt on the current management! Ultimately, it will all depend on what NewsCorp choose to do after the takeover. I cannot see regulatory approval being withheld as there is no major cross over with current NC assets. I doubt that they can go any further down market although there is bound to be a lot of cross promotional activity with SkyBet, The Sun (daily and Sunday) and they will use Sky's news gathering even more than they do now. |

A matter of opinion. |

Toe curling moment on the two mikes today. They played a punk version of Chelsea's Blue is the Colour, and Parry said "that singer shouldn't give up the day job". It was Phil Daniels and he was on the line as they were about to interview him
![]() Oh dear. Then there was the bizarre Bob Ballard last night. He was talking to a Scottish reporter about the league cup matches there yesterday, and suddenly decided he's going to read out all the results, first in some sort of clipped 1930s style BBC accent, then in a very odd supposedly Scottish one. It was excrutiating. I think he may have been drunk. Even the poor guy on the phone said "please stop". |

Used to be the lead commentator on bbc radio at the swimming and diving events around the world, now reduced to earning pin money on the graveyard shift on tS |

In the midst of all the sheer rubbish on this station's schedule my view is there is a place for Graham & Parry but it ain't 10.00am-1.00pm it's the graveyard shift like Smashie & Nicey talking to lorry drivers, factory workers and insomniacs, it's always available for everyone else that's wants it via the Listen Again feature. |

Motormouth Kelly back on for the Giant Glaswegian again as the Big Behemoth Brazil takes a "well deserved" rest from his jaunts behind the mic during which he touted for goodies, freebies, and jollies on a daily basis. It's hard work but ......
According to feedback in the local watering hole TS are at the anti Arsenal propaganda big style and so I wonder what has happened in the past to make this band of mediocre media men hate the club so much. IF Allardyce gets the England job and has a few poor results will TS be able to criticise him since, to a man, they are all behind him?? Don't forget that old Hodgson won every game in the qualifying rounds, so can Sam even match these results which were not so great considering the teams they had to beat. No doubt they'll come out with every excuse under the sun for Sam "friend of the station" Allardyce. |
