For all those worried about the disappearance of ex talkSPORT presenter Ronnie Irani from the limelight there's a strong rumour going around he's had a sex-change and is currently presenting an afternoon radio show on talkRADIO after this photo went viral over the internet this week.

PS ...

Don't know where BigAl is I've checked his freebie sporting calendar and there's nothing on today he must have had a skinful yesterday and phoned them up at 5pm again saying get the talkSPORT schedule whore in because he's having another day off.

It was nearly midnight when Kelly got the call. Brazil had clearly got in from a night at the Sports Bar and Grill and decided he didn't fancy getting up on friday

It's talent as a presenter and I really rate his show, it's easily one of the best on talkSPORT.
Doesn't have that deep rooted Premier league top 6 only matters - sod the rest of you type attitude some other presenters have (and not just at Talksport..)

I see Kelly as another Tom Daley
Tom Daley vs Danny Kelly (viewer discretion is advised!):

I reckon my money would marginally be on Tom Daley in a diving competition, unless it was judged by the displacement of water.

Yippee it's the one day of the year talksport leaves the bloody Premiership alone and suddenly gets very interested in the Football League. [or as it is now called the "EFL" the English Football League]

For any Premier League fan who thinks he/she may be affected by this momentous swerve in talkSPORT'S usual pattern fear not it'll not last very long and from tomorrow and onwards throughout the season it'll be normal service resumed I have no doubts.

Good luck to all our clubs .....

Seansnotmyname - Blackpool v Exeter City
The Difference – Walsall v Wimbledon
Swfcforever – Sheffield Wednesday v Aston Villa
Old Oak – Huddersfield v Brentford
Handjfan - Grimbsy Town v Morecambe
Billy244 – Sheffield Wednesday v Aston Villa
RightHandPillar - Moseley Rangers v ALDI Supermarket Middleton Road Manchester Outlet

When I was very young my grandmother kept a budgie, in the bottom of the cage there was a little fat figure which had a big wide round bottom to it and the bird was supposed to peck it to amuse itself and stop it getting bored, it couldn't fall over because of it's round shape at the bottom ... it was called a "Kelly".

Talksport's very own fat rounded bottomed Kelly always reminds me of it.

The nearest I can find to it is this on eBay, the bottom is the same but it was a little fat man.

Those "dead certs" of big Al got beat by a team with no strikers!
Have a soft spot for Fulham, went to see Celtic play at Craven Cottage in a pre season game about ten years ago and it was one of the best days out at the football I've ever had.
Great wee ground and their fans were brilliant.

It sure is a great little ground Bangla, on the occasions when the university boat race rows by the crowd turn their back on the football to watch the race .. or so I'm told

Massive Micky Quinn not daunted by his" beluvved"team (one of many) losing last night to unfancied Fulham. He's still squealing they'll win Champ easy (Big Al says they'll walk it). Then he switches to his "beluvved Liverpool and wonders why everyone is not excited they are playing a friendly against Barca. While he was gurgling excitedly about the game he yowls out that "dey'll be challengin fer de Premiership".
Massive Micky works on the principle that if he says Liverpool will win the Prem every year then eventually it will happen, well it's over 25yrs since they won it so it's due.

George is her usual font of knowledge and so they make quite a pair for the Weekend
show.

Listening to Quinn is a bit like hearing the bloke in the trap next to you dropping the entire contents of last night's curry and 8 pints of Guinness down the pan without a break.

But less insightful and more odorous.

This is what it's like in the lower leagues.

Grimsby played Morecambe at home today. This was our first game back in the Football League after winning the National League play-offs last season.

Nine of our starting eleven were signed on free transfers in the summer. Five of the seven subs were signed in the summer, and we didn't pay a penny for any of them.

So 14 of the 18 players used were signed for nothing in the off-season. Two of the other four were goalkeepers, one of which is a 40 year-old goalkeeping coach.

Anyway, we won 2-0.

Happy for you HJFan welcome back to the Football League.

Haven't the Mariners spent spells in and out of our second tier down the years there's no reason why they can't get there again and the good times will Rock 'n Roll again for you.

Oh lord what a result I couldn't believe it when I checked it online, ....

Moseley Rangers 1 ALDI Supermarket 13

To rub salt into RightHandPillar's wounds ALDI had 4 sent off before halftime and their goalkeeper was a one legged unidexter also blind in one eye.

Well, it's a good start, albeit against the team that finished 21st last season. I think a mid-table finish would be fine this season just to stabilise ourselves as a league club.

The Owls must be on telly tomorrow!

That will be Liverpool winning every game for the season,
After posting a couple of days ago that I wasn't excited about the Olympics, I loved the sport yesterday, specially the bike race, world record in the pool and table tennis.
Love table tennis and it's a game just about everyone can enjoy and have fun playing.

Mark mate WELCOME BACK HOME!!!
[hope you will stick around]

I very very nearly included you yesterday in the list of games but at the last minute thought bugger it he's not coming back again.

It's always a good game against Villa, no predictions pal and let the best team on the day win.

That's Sheffield Wednesday of course!!!.

To be fair that pitch of yours can't help RightHand I'm sure there's a slight dip at one end which must make every home game even more difficult for an already struggling side. >>>http://bit.ly/2b3RiQk<<<

Oh well mate only another 45 games to somehow get through till the end of the season and you'll be able to relax a bit. Next week it's the Dog & Duck pub who've not won for 29 games I'm putting money on you doing that lot royally.

Nil-Nil at the moment which is incredible for a Villa game at half time these days. Wednesday are no mugs though so until

Thanks for the hello mate. I still pop in here regularly for a read how bloody awful some of their programs are. As you know, i couldn't take a day of listening to nothing but sport 24/7 especially the same topics so TS drove me towards more diverse stuff on other stations. Their fault not mine.

I have to say, not having listened to it for some while but now quite a regular listener , Drive has been reasonable entertaining recently. And H&J are still a decent act. I probably just needed a rest as I'd listened to it for years and it got a bit / a lot stale.

But there's still a few insufferables on there and my radio has a kind of red emergency stop button you find on industrial equipment to shut it off instantly in an emergency. Stuart Pearce being one of them.

No change eitheron my football club-itis condition , Gough has it now the ****.

No surprise my favourite show is the welcome return of the Two Mikes who although chat a pile of crap, it's very entertaining and amusing crap IMO.

I remember the halcyon days on here where amazingly the overnight show attracted the most comments on here.

But to the detriment of some of those other stations who took me away, they've also got some rotten presenters themselves so it's all swings and roundabouts.

Looks like you were right there Billy re the better team . Well done SW.

On a positive note for us, it's been well over a year since we saw anything that resembled a spirited performance like that.

A thoroughly enjoyable game, Only down side is Sky 1 are now going to ask Ian Holloway for his opinion of it which the outspoken tw-at will delight in.

I put the tele on this afternoon and was gobsmacked when I saw Celtic playing because yesterday when I was looking through all this weekends fixtures online I couldn't find any fixtures for Scotland so I thought your season was starting later like the EPL.

Sorry Sleep and Bangy I would never have left you guys out if I hadn't cocked it up.
